Does anyone think characters luck is a thing? Is the algorithm rigged

Ok hear me out - I have made a new character. I have killed all of LFR, Normal and most of heroic last week and this week, I didn’t get a single tier drop or trinket, I also have done about 20 keys as well, again no trinket.

Yesterday I did a raid, there was another guy my class there, not only my tier dropped 3 times, he proceeded to win every single piece and a 2H weapon.

So it got me thinking, my character must be super unlucky or something.

Should I reroll or am I crazy?

You’re not crazy, i farmed the warglaives for about 6 months on one char and never got both.

made a fresh character and withint 4 resets i had both off hand and main hand :rofl:

No, its just RNG.
Sometimes you roll high sometimes you roll low.

Luck seed is a myth but one I ascribe to. I have had several characters with amazing luck. Back in Vanilla I deleted a character if it died before level 10 and didn’t get a pouch.

I’ve definitely noticed I have a higher amount of success farming mounts on my warlock as opposed to any other character of mine. I can’t prove it, as such, but whenever I’ve been lucky to get a rare drop it’s always on my warlock.

I’m always unlucky on all characters but if I farm something long enough eventually it will have to drop :rofl:

I have farmed many rare items over the years and at one point it was looking like my priest was the “lucky” character, so naturally I started my future farms on her, she has never gotten a drop ever since. No such thing as a “lucky” character, it’s just RNG.

No, don’t reroll. The problem is you. You’re cursed by RNGeesus and there’s no dispelling that.

The only solution is to find this other guy IRL and murder him so he can’t roll for your items.
