Karazhan is easier than dungeons heroic, Nightbane was nerfed (it was way harder on beta), it’s like a Zul Gurub (10 man instance) or AQ20 (10 man instance). Karazhan doesn’t provide Badge of Justice. Lot of loots are not Best-In-Slot and more “Heroic Dungeon side-upgrade”. There’s very good item, but they aren’t legion unless you are badly geared (exactly like Zul Gurub and AQ20). Yes, there’s T4 tokens, but Gruul and Maghteridon contain the others T4 parts and theses raids are 25 players and should stay in 1 week reset.
We all know TBC will be fast-paced release, like they did in Classic Vanilla. T5 will probably come 1 month after 9.1 in Retail. So why not making Karazhan a 3-day Raid and then, do the same for the future Zul Aman ?
This will make the game more enjoyable for everyone, less stress and contention on loots, more players willing to pugs, more raids content to do and less raid logging (right now, we have Karazhan R10 and Gruul/Maghteridon R25 that are very fast to do - 2 boss for the former, 1 boss for the later).
Yeah lets do this, then complain about how few items Mag and Gruul drop - “We already have everything we need from Karazhan, but 2 items for 25-man is to little. Make them drop more items”.
After that we’ll ask for shorter resets there aswell since; “People no longer struggle like in 2007. 7 days was needed before but 3 days make more sence now”.
(Dont forget to add “This would be better for everybody”).
2 weeks later when everybody has everything, we can start with the “Release Phase 2 already, there’s nothing to do anymore, or else people will quit”.
Rinse and Repeat until the “Announce WOTLK already”-threads start to come.
The scariest thing in WoW isnt a boss or a droprate. Its the emptiness that makes us reflect over what the hell we are investing time in. More content, less scary voices in the head.

I’m not sure if this truism is a justification for not having Kara on 3 days
I think its mixed. Kara on 7 days was fine in vanilla - but that’s because the dedicated would be moving into SSC/TK by now (or at least in the next couple of weeks). I feel we are already starting to get an alt-wave, because a growing number of people are essentially “done” with their characters outside of Raids.
I don’t think its that much of a problem now - but in 6~ weeks or so its going to start to get a bit old. To be fair I think most expect phase 2 at least be announced by then.
Let’s make Kara a 1 day raid, or no: better: a 4 hour raid.
