excuse you, i want to be berated for my forum remarks, not for the healing i (wouldn’t) do in a dungeon.

What an atrocity…

No, if anything warlocks are on the opposite spectrum of healing, they should get debuffs that prevent or absorb healing, like death knights.

It’s like asking for death knights to get a healing spec and heal party members with exploding ghouls.

Aha. Warlocks healing? What do you expect me to do? Wait for the “Warlock healer” to finish his 30s long rotation to do one big heal?

Really awesome as idea but with the current devs and the mess they did with Aug Evoker i doubt how good it will be a new spec for any class.

Low pop? Surely they’re one of the more popular classes. Looking at all the Warcraft must be dark people

This is actually the key point for M+ healers too though. It’s not that the options aren’t there and the classes don’t feel cool on a thematic basis; it’s that a lot of people do not feel viable in pugging +20s. The difficulty curve for a “weekly vault key” has shot up in DF, and healers have borne the brunt of it.

Every missed interrupt is 50% of someone’s health bar, every time a defensive isn’t used is another 50%. A player is now dead and someone starts with “CAN I GET A HEAL???”

It feels terrible pugging as a healer, trying to get up from 19s to 20s, fighting against player attitude and ignorance when someone gets oneshotted. The combination of repeated healer nerfs, how the player base at large handles failure, combined with the increased difficulty of DF, has made the role just feel unrewarding and thankless.

Lmao.

I tried pugging a 20 vortex earlier on my priest as healer.

I was sat in cyclones constantly and people died.

“Healer??”

Bro, stop the cyclones. We even had a paladin tank and they just weren’t getting stopped.

I want a warlock healing spec where you funnel your own health in to your demon, and then use the demon to distribute the health to your team.

I used to be a healer, but over time i found myself healing less so it wasnt worth maining a healer any more.
There was not a single class that had a healing spec, and a dps spec i wanted to play.
So im a warlock with 3 dps specs i enjoy, and no ability to heal.

If warlock got a healing spec i absolutely would start healing again.
(In heroic dungeons and lfr as thats the content i do. But point still stands)

By log counts and more, warlocks never that drastically high.

However sure, im sure they are more popular when meta, but there are far far more popular classes lol

The warlock heal spec will work if the healing is mostly passive, similar to augmentation or priest’s vampiric.

This way warlock plays almost as a regular dps, which addresses fill the bars minigame people tend to dislike.

Basically this. Until the player base at large actually starts asking they died instead of assuming it’s someone else’s fault, healing will be rubbish.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m far from perfect. Sometimes I’ll interrupt the wrong thing, sometimes I’ll stand in fire or miss a dispel. But when I do, I know what I did and I don’t tell someone else it was their fault when it wasn’t. I won’t ignore the cyclone cast, get the massive magic dot, not use a defensive, then blame the healer for not dispelling :pensive:

For example, drain forms a river through you to the lowest hp ally and replenishes his/her health.

there is no need to beat the warlock down when is down already, and evidently like so

Shush, let me for once kick-after something in peace :stuck_out_tongue:

i’ll have you know that you should not make fun of us, for it’s gonna be quickly over for you once i complete my 8-spells rotation, wait for each and every one of them to build up their damage, spend 5 more casts to burst damage with malefict rapture, make sure that none of them expires in the meantime and maybe throw a shadow bolt here and there

HAHAHA! TRY ME!

bubbles and hearthstones away

would say rather support with offheal? maybe something like first class single target and offheal?

because many classes have lousy specs. Rogue, hunter, warrior etc. make little sense!

you might need 2 specs: top notch aoe or single target. and third spec for something sensible use…

as if, by the end of hearthstone casting, i wouldn’t still be in the early stage of my 72 spells initial setup.
