she got massive backlash for that, and so did blizzard.
people were calling out the paid boost service she paid for to be banned
She still selfplayed, i wanna see punyelf getting boosted, i don’t think even the best players in the world can boost punyelf to 2400 in pvp.
Like i’ve said you can only boost semi good players in pvp, not the average or bad ones.
yeah, you cant stand there and do nothing, you have to actually play.
but if i remember right after sl s1 when nagura got boosted , blizzard banned boosting services
and all activity was frozen from trade chat
Which was the right thing.
I remember the backlash at her.
But I’m hoping Blizzard have learnt to keep the two separate.
they banned boosts in trade chat following this ordeal,
and for a short time boosting was banned , until the addition of service channel couple months later
The service channel was needed, although I still see scumbags in newcomer.
real money trading was rife before the Changes, its still there now… but harder to complete
That’s why i like solo q arena and solo q rbg, impossible to boost someone unless they buy a service for piloted account outside the wow token business scheme of the game.
can safely say. PvP all in all.
is not just subjectively better. its factually better
from everything we have discussed in this thread, anyone that argues against this point. is either hurt or in denial
thats my last words on the matter
PvP is
As I see it, PVP is hard to get into. For new or returning players at least. I stopped doing pvp with my leveling alts after upon entering a battleground at lower levels I kept getting oneshotted. My gear was from dungeons, mostly up to date, but I kept getting insta-killed. That’s not PVP. That’s just annoying and I’m one of the people who know a thing or two about how the system works, but what about those who don’t. What about a guy who plays wow for the first time or the first time in a long time. What’s he gonna make from all this.
You are right, PVP has became a niche and to be honest, Blizzard really has to take a good look at it as a whole. Not just the endgame. PVP needs to get people interested in it from the lowest levels up to the endgame.
Same. The last remaining 100 mythic+ players can rage all they want in this thread, i’ll laugh at them with my elite set and gladiator mounts.
Start slowely from bgs/worldpvp, they will soon add solo q rbg, so you don’t even need to sweat in arenas.
Honestly I just don’t have time to do both anymore. If I did, I’d play both modes… that being said, having several sets does annoy me now. Yea it’s easy with bag space, just sayin’!
I’m actually fine even with casual battlegrounds. Point I was trying to make is that Blizzard has neglected that aspect of the game and it erodes the quantity of players willing to participate. They need to take a good look at how the whole system works, top to bottom.
Hope they will, them even mentioning the new bg and solo q ranked rbg in blizzcon is a huge sign that they are willing to listen to their pvp players.
Because you do not have 2 achives which prove you moved from vanilla into TBC but then again you do like to spread wrong info bit like when you said you could get money from WOD mission tables still.
I let you figure out what achives you are missing
i agree to this… thats why i always hated resilience in tbc, was better when you could do pve and pvp with the same gear.
Sudden flash back of getting stomped in AB trying to earn enough honor for gear.
Been there, done that! From original vanilla up to Wrath i was hardstuck PvE player like most of the carebears we still got in WoW community,i was blind for what it real matter in the game. What real matter in the game is not the gear(gear is just a tool to achive what you aim for). Most of PvErs can play their class/specs on 30-50% of their real potential, only PvP can get you up to 100% and PvE players barely know how other classes work, ofc they got no idea how to react to enemy player cd useage and situations(thats why the game is almost 20 years old and they cant still get out of fire in a scripted mob content).Ofc i do understand most of hardstuck PvE players and their thinking, they are just not good enough to improve. And that thing is fine,in most of the games players are bad and they are unable to improve.PvP is a niche thing for the players that have the will and strive to improve.Keep enjoying it PvP fellas!
The game would be flat out dead. More people care about pve then pvp
