Sick and tired of being second place compared to NA

To clarify, I am beyond sick and tired of release times always being catered to NA, and blizzard being too lazy and or incompetent to make a new release time for EU.

The pandaria remix event says it’ll release 16th may on my launcher. However, it doesn’t say WHEN exactly, at least I couldn’t find it. I had to go on wowhead to check. And what do you know, it releases at 10 am PDT 16th. So at 20:00 my time. So yeah I can play for 2 hours, then go to bed, wake up tomorrow, go to work, then come home, and THEN I can play.

You do know that the majority of Americans are going to be at work during this time, right?

But on the other side, NA usually are beta-testers for EU, so in any patch or weekly reset we know about lot of bugs already before our region goes life

Look on the bright side, the Americans can stumble on the worst of the bugs, so Blizz can (valiantly attempt to) fix them for us tomorrow!

It’s a good system, works a treat for regular update patches as well…

Man…

WoW players are the worst.

When Plunderstorm was launched, people had outcried that they wanted a global release.

We got a global release and now people are complaining that it did not have a regional relese.

Look. First, you cant help the fact that earth rotates from west to east… that is why NA stuff is always first.

Because its a global launch, ANY launch time would have been OK for some people and unacceptable for many, many others. PDT 10am is 13pm EDT … ect…

Dunno… people are never happy…

and you have a lot of time to play it. 1 day or 12 hours doesnt make any difference.
Blizz\acti\microsoft are american companies.

It’s literally 1 day. I don’t care.

What I really dislike is the 3 days early access to TWW for those who pay 100€ for the whale edition. This one is not fair.

You literally got from Today till TWW prepatch to play the Mode, which is 3 months away at least…

They’re an American company based in California, so naturally they will schedule releases when they are in the office. This way they can respond to bugs much quicker.

You mean you would prefer a 12am release like usual?
Or would you prefer they got it on tuesday and we got it on wednesday?
Someone, somewhere, is not going to be happy at the release time.
But don’t fret, it will likely be buggy and full and unplayable anyway.

So play it tomorrow. Talk about stomping your foot about first world problems.

US company puts the US first. The outrage.

I for one value and appreciate our quality-testers overseas.

Given we have months to do most things in this game, does that day really matter?

People rush to get everything done in 5 minutes, then complain for months there’s nothing to do…

Enjoy yourself offline until tomorrow, then enjoy the remix after the inevitable day 1 patch fix.

I thought I’d be farming keys all day this season, instead I’ve done some keys, but also spent hours relaxing with my better half, and listening to music. I’ve still got 516 ilevel and a reasonable rating.

In short, don’t let it bother you, and take advantage of the fact that the Americans will get a bug fiesta, and we won’t.

So you have to wait a whole DAY to play Pandaria remix.

However will you survive a whole DAY.

Yeah they should release it when EU’s at work and NA asleep so nobody’s happy.

they could of just made a separate eu release tho?

It’s 19:00 in Berlin/Amsterdam/Paris, and 6pm in the UK, I believe. That is prime time for Europe. If the event started at 10 in the morning, many people would be at work still.

If anything, this is one of the few WoW happenings that doesn’t favor NA.

This, don’t get the have to complete everything as quickly as possible. Play another game, watch a movie, whatever. Game is still here tomorrow and that’s the weekend so works out okay really.

There was also an EU article

World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria goes live 16 May at 18:00 BST worldwide. We’ll see you in Pandaria!

US/NA don’t get it first, we all get it together.

Yeah.
This way EU gets it in Prime Time (evening) while NA gets it at lunch time.
This is reasonable for both sides.

Any earlier would have had NA getting it in the middle of the night. Any later would have had EU getting it in the middle of the night.
Not to mention Ocenia, I’ve no idea what time they’re getting it…
