Can this be put on at least an hourly timer, not fair to ask people to camp out for 2 hours in case they miss the 5 minutes it takes for the thing to complete.

Why would you camp there when you know exactly when it spawns - every 2 full hours
You don’t have to be there waiting for that 5 minute or less
It is in every 2 hours, next will be 08:00, then 10:00, 12:00 and so on
Just long in/get there before a min or two when it starts
It’s not awakened anymore this week so no real point doing it
It still gives flightstones for 3 min of being afk do certainly worth it if you spend almost 2 k instantly on bulion weapon 
I’d just like it to stop despawning when I move across the border to the zone. It’s annoying.
But it’s been like this for over a year now. They’re not gonna fix it. Better for them to focus on TWW…
I know how it works bro, the point is how long each cycle is. Also not literally camping there, but you have to watch when the 2 hours is up and basically have to plan to be on at just the right time, just to get a weekly done. So you are basically camping one way or another.
The in-game timer of siege has been buggy since DF release. Blizzard will never fix it.

This is a no brainer, make it every hour or every 30 minutes. There’s absolutely no reason for a casual event to require people to schedule their free time around when they come home from work. I don’t understand how people above are against this becoming a shorter timer on. I am sure that people with plenty of time would also like to just be done with this event whenever it is in the weekly cycle and move on to the next alt and be done with it there as well instead of having to wait every 2 hours.

All the DF world event (siege/soup/research/rift… etc.) should be every 30 mins, since none of them last longer than 20 mins.
