Why is this beautiful city so dead? There’s no better looking area in the game, and it’s just empty, filled with the odd NPC & maybe one or two low level Belves that are handing in a quest.
How do we fill capital cities again? Why is Oggrimar the only place people go to?
in dont know… maybe in OGR there is all you can use and teleporters. Silvermoon wasnt update since 2007 - you have the patient ambassador of the horde still roamin.
Add ogrimmar is very simple to navigate.
And the last but not the least: YOU CANT FLY THERE.
There’s several reasons and Blizzard’s actions over the years haven’t helped the situation.
One big reason is that Silvermoon is in a different instance; you have to go through a loading screen before you can visit the city, which I think puts off a lot of players.
Another reason is that Blizzard has moved everything important to Orgrimmar and Stormwind for the Alliance respectively. It’s almost a miracle Silvermoon still has a bank and auction house considering Blizzard got portals removed from other big hubs and never even bothered to have auction houses at all in say Dalaran or the shrines.
Then there’s also the case that almost all major quests to start new expansions happen in Orgrimmar/Stormwind.
I agree that Silvermoon is a beautiful city but all in all there’s just not much of a reason to go there when everything’s already in Orgrimmar. And if you want to go a different city Thunderbluff is much closer by and without a loading screen.
How is that a bad thing?
bc nothings there more or less lol, it takes forever to get around too.
Isnt a bad thing. But you lose time to do everything. And with the M+ mentality faster is better.
i add the position of teleporters in sm is terrible.
There are portals in Silvermoon?

I mean it’s the last bastion for the Horde on the Eastern Kingdoms. It really should have more focus and be booming. It sure does feel that everyone just teleports everywhere, ignoring 99% of the world.
There you go the answer why Silvermoon is being ignored in orgrimmar you have those ease of access portals and zepelins people love ease of access to everything little walk or enjoying siteseeing a bit never hurt anyone.
But how do we fix this problem?
