i’m about to transfet that character since i’m not pleased at all of my actual region/server and from the fact i’m on a dead server too.
So i hesitate between Silvermoon and Ravencrest. Let’s explain my profile fast :
PvP player (65%)but like doing PvE (mythic + and maybe torghast too) (35%).
Clearing merely all raid HM in PuG.
Like the PuG system ( i mean by that i hate being in a guild that told me " 19h we raid, so i stopped guild raiding for that. But in case BFA system come out and PvPer need to back doing PvE i will be prepared (possibility in the future ? )).
I’m not that kind of guys that like childish / toxic attitude.
I’m looking for a populated realm so if i want to do a mythic raid in PuG i will not have to wait the Hall of Fame to get Mythic PuG
I’ve looked on WoWProgress and i’m looking for Silvermoon but i don’t want to regret my choice between these 2.
As i got not really experience on those realm, i’m asking from some experience.
PS : By the way i wil change my name too while transfering
And not going into RP realm like argent dawn since i’m that kind of guys that run EVERWHERE, jump EVERYWHERE and breaking absolue all immersions into the game that will be 95% OOC

I’m on Silvermoon. I had no problem pugging the raid tiers i chose to go for curve in. I haven’t done any Mythic raiding, but there are plenty of Silvermoon mythic pugs before Hall of Fame is filled, usually though only for the first bosses.
Well that is a problem because the 2nd one forces you to be on silvermoon…
Honestly from my experience in silvermoon… I would never get back there.
Ive heard good words for outland and ravencrest alliance side. Now i dont know how far they go in terms of progress.

I’m leaving my server too because we have lost 75% of our total pop since legion to classic wow and now it’s like 85% people are gone. Before we got enought pop to recruit in my guild people that want to do Mythic raiding. Today my realm can’t even do the last 2 boss with a correct strat since the average is now 6/12 HM on my realm.
More you got people, more there will be people that can reunite their progress in it.
Trust me you don’t want to be in those realm that was good before that become dead. You meet the same people everyday and badly where i’m on my realm is full of people i dislike and since i’m on khaz-modan (new player ) since cataclysm i need now to see highter level ( i don’t spit on new level. I helped them a lot since the beginning, but i feel that i’m more pulled me down that i personnally now learn and discover from other).
There’s never enought people. And we got the technology for it.
I have played on all major servers since a very long time so my opinion will be the most valuable here.
I can assure you that Silvermoon is currently the best server for alliance to be on. Pugging is never an issue and there are more people than anywhere. It is the Alliance’s last bastion before this faction dies out completely as more and more people are switching to horde.
RC used to be a big server but now it is only a shadow of what it used to be so don’t waste your money going there. You won’t regret going to SM. There are even Mythic pugs here that get pretty far should you be any good.
Alliance side doesn’t like Trolls so it is normal for you to have a bad time here.
I think you should stop spreading misinformation too Filling of Hall of Fame list takes roughly 2 months, you have no option except for grouping with people from your own server during that timespan. Only then it is trivial.
And there can be also problems related to Auction House and economy on low population servers.

When players want to try Mythic PUGs before Hall of Fame is full if they are not on a high populated server they will not find a group easily.
On a side note, sometimes PUGs could be inclined to invite people from known servers rather than dead or RP servers.
