Yesterday and today, they are over two hours long. I never waited it out, I definitely have better things to do. But this is still so typical. If I HAD bought the expansion I guess I’d be much more pi**ed off by this. This way - it just feels like another blizz moment.

This is a social game, not everybody wants to play on a dead server where they feel like it’s just them and nobody else.
We shouldn’t have to suffer because of that choice. Blizzard should adapt accordingly. You don’t pre-order a meal and chose to go to a different restaurant because it’s busy. If the restaurant has accepted your money during the pre-order, it’s on them to make space.

Had a 3 min que time, logged off for a while to do some chores and got back instantly.
I agree, i think blizzard should make a HARD CAP on the amount of players allowed to make characters on one realm at a time, say 10k. That would solve this issue and help spread out the players.
So you would rather sit at the screen then and watch the queue go down instead of at least playing the game in some form. I have my main on Draenor, and most of my characters on Silvermoon, but I learnt from the past, and have a healthy cpl of alts on Dragonblight, which at the moment is classed as high pop and instant connection…Just an idea.

Just get back from work , was excited to play Shadowlands but i supposed it’s not going to happen today (same as yesterday , Draenor btw). 5k queue and 190 min. People hit 60 and clearing mythic dungeon already and me still unable to even login. Thanks Blizz , that’s awesome. ( don’t start with “you choose highly populated server” that’s no excuse)

I would rather play on the server i choose and not been forced to play on low populated server because Blizz can’t handle their …!
Well I for one would rather play then sit at the screen and watch a number go down, if you are happy to do that, then all be well.

One can always boot up another game to play while waiting in queue tho.
Well again that is the individuals choice, personally I purchased SL and I am enjoying it, be it on a High pop server as opposed to a full one. Either way it’s better than sitting in a queue not knowing if you will get in at all.

Always is in a few days normally the first few days, then possibly the Saturday, then normality returns.

or they have been there a long time when it wasn’t like that years ago. And blizzard keeps letting more people and guilds transfer to the full realms making it worse. Because money from transfers is a lot more important.
If they been there years they didn’t choose to play there knowing that.
