You aren’t
You get full access to the expansion hub like always.
It just so happens that there is also a horde city next to it.
Like for real would we have that same discussion if the main hub was like
Farestrider spire.
Right next to Silvermoon

Yes we do. We just had a (bad) story that implies that only some crazies try to have war in Arathi and that both factions worked together to get rid of them.
We are also mercenaries (both the horde and the alliance players), not registered military personnel. We were just “born” different but we do the same job for the same pay.
With the same logic of Silvermoon, then Dalaran should have also been mostly Alliance.
There is no dobule standard here. Stop trying to fake moral highground. There’s just your over-inflated sense of entitlement. You are comparing a couple of totally pointless areas to a Faction Capital. It’s funny, if you people spent as much time asking Blizzard to turn those places into actual capitals as you spent lusting over the belf city, maybe you wouldn’t be in this situation.
And be my guest, steal all the belf ladies you want, most of them are dudes anyway.
Ah, nostalgia. Brings me back to 2007 alright.
It’s pretty funny how Belves since the beginning have been the laughing stock of the Horde but now the Horde is so pitiful and massacred that Hordies need to prop up the Belves as their only spotlight in an expansion.
Whatever. I did not mean that belf dudes look like chicks. Whoever says that hasn’t seen a chick. Or a dude. I’m saying most of these belf chicks are played by dudes.
The Horde is 90% of blood elves.
They used to have cool leaders but got murdered by dogtier writing. Same as Alliance too come to think of it, they never fully commit or story arcs ends up nowhere. World of Nothingburger.
Belves were introduced to attract more female players to the horde.
Pretty sure there were old in-game emotes joking about that.
And Blood Elves for years were the ONLY race in the game that couldn’t be warriors (even gnomes could, lol).
I still remember when Garrosh said: “Even a Blood Elf can wield a sword.”
That had me rolling on the ground. ![]()
Among other things, yeah. They were.
It’d be hard to disagree with this one.
I think dala is a bit different tho.
You didn’t had it for you for a decade and then it got neutral.
It was neutral ever since it got into wow.
Genuinely feels worse than watching DBZ episodes of Goku vs Frieza, because the anime was too ahead and they had to wait for the manga to catch up with the next storyline.
Making too many episodes about a fight going nowhere for weeks
good times
Consider that during Vanilla and TBC there was a dome around Dalaran in Alterac and every dalaran related NPC in the area was hostile to Horde.
And it is not even a new thing. they were killing off good WC3 characters since at least TBC
Bloody typical. The world is about to end (again!) but the 2 factions are too busy killing each other over petty nuances. Ironically this is pretty much what would happen IRL tho hahahaha
This is why 2 pillar warring factions both of which have players + world ending stories do not mix well.
You either do the “lets put aside all differences to survive” plot and take it all the way or you write something that cannot be taken seriously.
We did that at the end of the base WC3 but in just 4 years war again, then the endless world ending threats started coming one after the other
It could work, but as long as the devs themselves make commentaries like this, we have nothing to talk about lol. This fish is rotting from the head.
The only time “faction war + world ending stories” worked was in late Wrath and Cataclysm because Garrosh was in power and he was a bloodthirsty warmonger. So it made sense that the two factions were fighting each other instead of Deathwing because Garrosh was warchief.
It doesn’t make sense to have faction tribalism when the most important leader in the Horde Council, Thrall, just gave a therapy session to Anduin.
If you want faction tribalism then write logical conditions for it.
Regardless, all I see is an awful decision that Blizzard will walk back on. The uproar from Alliance players throughout social media so far has been great indeed (rightfully so).
You know what’s funny? To see how drastically the playerbase has changed. I remember the old forums around Wrath/Cata, Horde players (yes, Horde players) HATED Garrosh beause he was short-tempered and reckless, while Thrall was wise and diplomatic with the Alliance. Modern day players will have you believe that, no, actually, faction war and Garrosh were always popular, when that’s patently wrong and just nostalgic revisionism. ![]()
lmfao the most delusional take ive ever seen, blizz has a horde bias??! im not even gonna say anything atp
Plenty of people were hired for the wrong reasons, and it shows.
“You are a good boy and the world needs you but if the noble heroes come to help save our cities and the world, if they take a wrong turn in the city they will be killed on sight for being born human who is not having rotting flesh etc”
herp derp
