Simple TTK question

I have a very simple question that normal people would understand.

What is the Time To Kill in this game ?

It is relevant for several reasons:
If it’s too low then immune spells like buble need to be lowered.
It’s it’s too low then ranged specs dominate over everyone.
If it’s too low then CC spam classes win.

If it’s too fast then ranged classes are way over powered.
If it’s too fast then people can’t actually press their defensive CDs … bear in mind the CC point above.
If it’s too fast then healers are in CC and can’t do much to help their teammates.

So I wonder. How long do you think Time to kill (without heal support) should be?

Please don’t troll this thread, it’s for us players, blizz devs don’t watch what we write in the forums anyways.

12-15 seconds if it’s 1 dps at the very least, 6-8 seconds if it’s 2 dps.

Most definitely not this ridiculous damage we’re seeing now, I played my retri to 1800 tonight and I saw quite a lot of deaths that happened in less than 1.5 seconds. The fastest was 0.8 seconds from 100%, which is just absurd.

I also had some DPS that I used loh on when he was at 10% and then I did a TV and he was back down to 20% hp and got swapped by the priest back to 100% hp and then he died 4 seconds later. LIKE, BRUH. That’s just stupid.

It’s not set in stone; it’s based on how many modifiers you can stack.

So it can be anything from 1 second to 10 minutes.

im playing healer atm and i actually prefer this fast gameplay over damp meta, so maybe a few seconds more than atm, max

100% Agree. I don’t think the 5% stamina boost will solve this. Or that anyone can react in that 0.8 sec and even if I do react I doubt it will change anything unless I have immune defensive and I don’t :smiley:

Kinnda offtopic but why the class with the highest damage have the best defensive as well ?

Everyone have some sort of “And Now You Have To Wait” stupid mechanic that makes me wanna go to sleep. But the truth is that they do insane damage while I wait for my game time to expire to be able to play against them.

The other day a paladin ( because the game is full of them now) was immune to damage for 16 sec and kept my char in CC for another 6 all the while hurling hammers from Narnia.

Time to kill is very wrong in this game!
