Here we go again, Affliction is just simply terrible compared to destro and warlocks are forced to play this boredoom spec again. CBA to play a spec that has 4 skills to spam for like 10 years now. nerf chaos bolt etc a bit and make shadowburn/ soul fire and channel demonfire worth taking cuz I swear I just wanna scream when I’m forced to respec to borestro

You dont have to nerf a spec in order to play other spec,just buff affly,dont take away something for people that play destro&demo.

Its nerf only on paper- with said talents the dmg would be even higher or the same, thats the point

U do understand that destro is in a super bad place right now right ? Like 3 % play it bcs it does zero dmg.
Destros super scary chaosbolt does around 50k in average, and since they havent changed anything about its gameplaywith destro in like 5 years that should tell you something.
Destro needs 85 % buff in certain places

It’s obviously not a Destro player asking for a nerf to an already broken spec.
The truth is all Warlock specs need talent changes and tuning, for both PVE and PVP.
Hopefully they will listen to the players and not just apply lazy aura buffs.

At least they give Affliction the mr Talent back, now they only need to change MR to be a dot that can stack.
We already have way 2many things that stacks,just buff the MR,shorter GCD on dot spells,and longer dots!

I liked the burst potential of bfa Affliction but not that it was done with UA. So i thought same thing again but then with MR. Instead of Dread Touch rn.
Destro is the second-worst dps spec in the game, after the buffs:

There are still 23 dps specs better than destro. In fact, destro is still very close to being the last. Is that really a situation where destro should be “nerfed a bit”? Should it really be the definite worst dps spec in the game?

Problem is all players that isent destro hates destro for some reason.
100% destro is so bad right now its a Joke. Im stubburn and only play destro, but ye its a real pain.
Just the fact that MAGES complain about not being able to kite from melees atm, ye Well i just laugh thiniing about destros lack of mobility.
Isent it weird that destro dident get a single cov ability? We should atleast have the soulshape ability ( probly wrong name but the one where u can blink and run as an animal)

It is weird that Warlocks got nothing Covenant wise, while other classes get several (according to a quick Google search)
Damage wise it would have been better to keep Decimating Bolt for Destro.
But that doesn’t take away from the fact we are underpowered and have zero mobility in largely mobility based content.
Affliction got a very buffed version of soul rot via a shortened CD interaction with UA. They even got the cov Lego as a capstone (although a slightly nerfed version). Aoe drains are one the things that keeps affliction relevant

What they should is to remove rng from demo…make deathbolt instant 3 stacks 5-6 sec CD like conflagrate and make when pets disappear give a stack of deathbolt or make deathbolt not consume a stack…make doom do dmg every second and buff it and also when its over to summon a demon.
