Just curious, when did that change happen? I was leveling a dh alt and noticed that Blade Dance doesn’t dodge anymore. That’s a pretty big nerf in pvp tbh. Something should be given in return. A self heal or something

The problem is DH was never OP. Their problem was it was a very easy spec. Yes, it was easy but never broken. Just annoying with all these dodges. While I’m happy that BL dodge is gone, as I said there has to be a compensation because now DH sucks
Pre-nerf DH was ridiculous while lvling. You could pull 10 mobs and come away without breaking a sweat. Like most classes you just have to be more careful now. I died around 4 times while lvling a new DH in pre-patch. 3 of them was pulling more than I could handle, the other death was taking on an elite with 56k HP.
Blade dance are nerfed yes, we dont have dodge anymore and it is capped to 5 targets at once
I dont understand why they removed the dodge chance. It was so unique and it made the class feel different. Maybe it was misused on some mechanic by few people, so Blizzard axes it and makes thousands of players suffer for it. Great play dev team.

I don know man, this miniscule dodge was really doing it for me class fantasy wise. I don’t think Blizzard understand they destroy so much more for so many people when trying to put gameplay first, again. Was the 1 sec dodge so crucial for game balance that they had to outright remove it!? What’s next, will they remove the Pally bubble? I mean its like our dodge but for 8 times longer and on steroids.
They could’ve at least kept it in PvE. We suffer big time without it and Blade Dance is slowly drifting towards not being used.
Some builds sim higher and they don’t use Blade Dance. That makes our rotation 2 abilities. Sick game design.
I agree, if they had at least kept in PVE. That was the only skill we had as DH, it was a good mini game where you try to use it at the time when a big hit of an elite is coming or to get that extra second of melee immunity for the eyebeam to be off cd and heal you back up. Seriously for many years and changes this one irritates me the most, especially since Blizzard didn’t even give a reason why they decided to change this.
