I just hit 2.4 myself, and it was very anticlimactic to not receive the tabard in bag (I was aware of this). But I remember the feeling of hitting a certain rating and going to a vendor to physically buy the tabard felt so much more rewarding than this. Would be really cool if this was changed to getting it in mailbox or adding it to the PvP vendor.

Just transmog it over another tabard. It’ll still show up as a transmog in the tabard tooltip so you can still AFK boast in Oribos.
Their polite way of saying go away.

Don’t you have bigger problem in your life? Transmog or real item, ppl just DON’T CARE. Rarely someone take effort to inspect you.

Welp. That really does suck.
I love being able to mog to different tabards for my transmog, but keep the physical gladiator tabard on my character.
This is either an oversight, or a really depressing change.
Hopefully they add it to a vendor. Grats on 2.4k also. I remember getting in a few seasons ago, I felt so happy.
