Hello,
I’ve got a bizarre problem and somehow I haven’t found anybody with the same problem or a solution.
If the Major Excavation “The Drain” is full, I don’t get the goblin voice lines and also no weekly reward. I can participate with killing the boss, but don’t get the Bonus Objective.
Everyone else I play with has no issues.
I tried turning all interface addons off, waited for daily and now weekly reset, phased around. Nothing helps.
Has anybody encountered a similar issue?
It’s quite annoying that the Citrines are related to the Bonus Objectives and it’s not working

Hello,
got the exact same problem. I’d add that the Objective is visible on the map if it’s up, but there won’t be a reward shown (not even the blue chest) even tho at the contribution table it says that this event still holds a citrine.
My limited understanding is that the Objective is not “pushed” into the Questlog/Quest outliner on the right side of the screen and so the game can’t give a reward for completion: you are not “on the quest”.
Did you find a solution/fix/workaround yet?

Sadly I haven’t found a direct solution. I got the citrine on an alt in the end, but the problem still persists on my main.
I posted a bug report, but have little hope that this gets fixed.
Hello!
I have the problem. Made severel bug reports, but i can see you you posted this nearly a month ago, yet nothing happened.
Kinda sad…
Hi there!
I have the exact same issue since day one of the patch. Hoped it would be sorted with all the other bugs after the first week, but still persists for me. I’ve sent a bug report and also opened a couple of tickets, and got told to report it over here too, that they’re looking into it and how many people it affects, but nothing more. It’s clearly a technical bug… I hope they sort it soon, since you need the citrine for the mount achievement!
Thanks for posting, I thought this was only happening to me (my partner has no issue with the event popping up).
Hey all,
We’ve seen more reports of this, including other excavations and are currently investigating.
Unfortunately no workarounds at the moment, but do keep an eye on this support article for any updates:
