Lately, I have witnessed many lags while playing time some lags may last 5-10 seconds, and some may last so long, that the game needs to be exited and relaunched in order to get back in.
I also had a near-death experience where all mobs and NPCs disappeared and someone told me that i am now losing health to a mob i am unable to see. Luckily they came to my aid and helped me.

What is the status of this issue? why is this happening? What news can you bring to us at this time?
You better turn off if you play HC. One small break is better than latter to be soory you die.
All what I have heard from this fantastic community and company is - hey , you signed up for it, read the small print when you create your character.
Its your own fault.
Can’t remember to “Agree” to laggy and unstable servers is a feature
But you did agree to it all. Do a new char and read what you prob dident.

I died on my 59lvl mage jumping to Un’goro from Tanaris and using slow fall and ice block right after when i saw i lagged but none of them casted and i smashed my face on the ground… i decided i can’t be arsed to play this crap anymore. Perhaps i’ll start Era or will play some diablo 4 but never hc with these crap servers blizzard have.
Don’t feel bad, hc will die anyways sooner or later. The idea is fun, until you die to something stupid and realize all your hard work is gone, and there is nothing to help you start over. Add the server issues on top of that, people will just leave.
Also sod is just around the corner.
Well Blizzard is shooting in their own knee with these unstable servers.
After the first big server-crash, around 20% of the players quit HC.
After the second big server-crash, another 20% of the players quit HC.
If they also quit their subcription, then Blizzard lost a ton of real life money because they didnt present stable servers.
it is a shame. If I die to another lag, i will also quit. Its sad that such a big company cant afford or code stable servers in 2023.

You died to something stupid like you even comment yourself and just becuase of that you dont like HC anymore? You have the wrong mindset for HC for sure, giving up becuase you die?

I also lost a character to lag on horde side. It’s a game not a job, if it’s not fun anymore ofc I will give it up, like everyone should.
If dying to lag and spamming “you agreed to this” on forum is your idea of fun, by all means have at it bro.
Honestly I still kind of like hc, and I would be playing it if sod didn’t exist. I just stated it’s gonna die, which it will.
Yeah ofc it sucks to die to lag or any bug in game, but you should go into the mindset that you char will die, maybe not at lvl 10, but it can happen at 11.
Unofficial HC was better then the HC we got due to the “SSF” of it all.
I had my share of fun, I’m just burned out like I imagine a lot of people are.
Died on my 53 rogue which you know.
Died on my 38 mage to trolls in stv which root you with totems.
Died on my 30 something mage in thousand needles cave where they silence you for 8 secs.
Died on my 19 mage to murlocs that frostbolt you.
Died on like 5 chars to makgora
Died on multiple characters to straight up server lag. Had my friend drown in water because of lag, other one fell off a cliff.
Believe me I played this game enough I have no goal to reach, seen it all.
If you dont have any goal in this game, why did you play HC from the beginning?
Yeah sure it sucks to lose a char when you die, but just go with the flow, have fun, find new friends along the way, if I dident die my first time I wouldnt prob have meet a person I talk to almost everyday now.
And even if you die, you will prob have a bank alt with some money to help your new char out a bit.
If you are burned out, yeah thats more understandable but you come across so damn negative against HC.
Well my idea of “goal” was to play for makgoras, then died on my mage which I liked the most, where the dude leveled up in the middle of the duel, which I found to be an incredibly stupid mechanic, and so is engineering twinking. PvP will be better on SOD, which I’m sure you understand.
Didn’t have a bank alt.
Because I’ve seen all the flaws, game is not designed to be played hc, servers are bad, and whatever I do people will move to sod, it’s not up to me.
So PvP will be better in SoD? Why? “Noone” have really played it yet, we dont know with all the new spells coming in how unbalanced or balanced things will be.
Thats a misstake on your part then if you dident make an bank alt.
Well there is no pvp on hc besides screwed up makgora so the bar is pretty much on the ground.
Of course, making mistakes is part of hc, but it doesn’t help your motivation to start over for sure.
