I really wish Blizzard would make the intro to shadowlands skippable.
The maw intro is long, boring and very, very tedious.
I’m currently doing my 6th run and have many more toons to do the same. (tbh I didn’t enjoy it the first time, let alone other times- I just want to play the game, not so much into the lore, especially since I’ve already heard it)
Please, Blizzard… Make this skippable and send me straight to Oribos.
(Some people on this forum are saying it takes 15 mins to get through the maw, which if true I wouldn’t care… it takes roughly an hour, maybe more… especially since the dialogue cannot be skipped)

The Maw intro is indeed starting to becoming meaningless as the chronological story already is broken for new chars. Let’s skip the Maw intro, it makes no sense to escape the Maw observing the Jailer imprisoning Thrall, Baine, Jaina and Anduin, just to meet the three of them in up in Oribos - effectively skipping the part where we rescue them from Torghast.
You can literally skip everything but this, just do the 20 secound maw intro lol

I agree. Maw intro is very boring. Remove it and increase exp income by 10%. And after that if one picks story mode, it also leads to 20 minutes of unskippable dialogs. My current plan - to level several alts to 60 and get base covenant transmogs on them. But not only this intro is very tedious to do it on every character. Overall SL leveling is very boring in terms of story and I just hate threads, because if I don’t like grinding WQs in endgame, why would I do it while leveling?
I agree, it should be skippable when you’ve done it once. I’m actually hesitant to start getting some lower lvl alts into SL because I absolutely hate the intro. The small loss of XP from skipping the quests are easily caught up on with some WQs…
A skip would be nice but they really don’t seem to want to give people the option, even now that we’re onto 9.1
Without doing the Maw intro countless times your gaming experience wouldn’t be meaningful man.

Theyd get a lot of thanks and appreciation and quite the bit of kudos from a decent chunk of the player base who alt, but they wont.

Such an easy thing to do, as theyve already given skips for so much else. but they wont.

36 alts through it, just cant face doing it again and i really wanna get all 50 to max. but they wont give it.

i appreciate the insult, very kind of you. Im a geriatric carer, living away from my wife for 11 months of the year so excuse me for doing something that brings a little light to my somewhat darkened current lifestyle. Ive saved 2 peoples lives in my role, how bout you?

personaly i have no problem with the maw intro , yes it’s not realy funny but the 30 dungeons we need for 50-60 are worse

Maw intro is nothing compared to level the alt and make it playable. So its not even worth to level alts.
bad enough they reduced the xp gain from intro… a full skip is so overdue.
WHat’s ironic, and also almost rubbing our face in it, is that they let us skip the intro to Korthia as soon as we’ve done it once. And that’s brand new content.
