any news on a skip straight to shadowlands (oribos) without having to do the godawful 45 minute nonsense in the maw first.
yes its bearable for 5 alts but ive put 32 alts through it and im starting to go wibble … i mean insane.
Is it so bad to impliment an optional skip to it and go straight to Strings of Fate thingie in oribos? if you want to do the 45 minute nonsense for the nearly-a-level-of-xp then you should be allowed to. If you dont want to do the 45 ,minutes of nonsense and go straight to FATE then damn well allow us.
I cant do another 18 blizz, i just cant.
Dont really give a toss about 9.1 or classic anything … just give me my alt skip straight to oribos, pleaaaasee please please x1000000000
As someone who has dedicated many years into leveling (around 40+ alts or so), I don’t mind going through the leveling process at all, I find it fun actually. It has a high variety of options; the maw intro does not.
It’s the same thing, you go through the same dialog and what-not. I vastly dislike the intro. The prior has a LOT of variety. Even if you essentially do the same process, you have choices. The latter does not; it’s the same ol’ maw intro.
From my own experience, the variety is what makes it fun and it prevents it from getting overly boring. But as someone who has done the maw intro on I think 11 or so characters now, it is certainly lackadaisical for me. On that note, I’m hoping for a skip.
In my opinion, Blizzard should make ALL mandatory quest-lines skippable once they’ve been completed once. There is nothing fun about being forced to repeat quests over and over again. Ion recently said something about a number of players enjoying the journey of character progression, but I doubt anyone actually enjoys being forced to repeat the Maw intro quests, or covenant quests.
