Skyriding toggle - 5 second cast

Just saw this in the patch notes… Does it mean what I think it means?

Currently the toggle is instant. Miss your land next to an awkward spot and you can quickly steady flight up to it. Etc. The switch is useful much more frequently than a 5 second cast time seems to warrant.

It’s going to get very tiresome very fast.

Toggling between normal/dragonriding is a 5 sec cast, not the mounting itself.

takin from another thread:

"Yep. You will have to switch stance each time you want to use a different flight style and the switch has a a 5 sec cast time.

So for example you will now have to land when Skyriding, cast the 5 sec switch spell, which dismounts you, and then remount with your mount for normal flight, then do it again when you want to switch back to Skyriding."

All I can say is be grateful for small mercies. This could have been a 30 second cast with a 15 minute CD.

Yeah its an absolute downgrade and an absolutely awful decision by blizzard.
The trade off isnt worth it

If you enjoy the instant switch between flying modes, you are having fun wrong. Blizz decided to show you the right way. Trust them, the 5 second wait every time will greatly enhance your enjoyment of the World of Warcraft.

a 5 second wait… first world problems at the max!

But it isn’t 5 seconds if you select the wrong mount. Nearer 8 if you have to do it again - awful, awful implementation raised in Beta but nothing has changed. Little Johnny aged 5 could have told them that this was just wrong when it works now.
