Hello adventurers, I solicit your knowledge and advices!
I know there are already many posts about this subject, I still wanted to ask about it on this topic. No answer on the internet suits my request.
Concretely, I hesitate between Holy Paladin and discipline Priest. I played both classes for a while, up to mm + 10 at least, 1200cc in 2v2 (disc) arena and love them both, but I have to make a decision.
I am not a tryharder, I do mythics, raiding and pvp. I do not plan to do +15 keys, nor mm raids.
I play with friends who often make mistakes in dungeons: in disci it is sometimes difficult to deal with unforeseen damage.
I personally find that this is not an easy spec to play properly, and I wonder if it’s worth the serious dedication to what it will bring me to my level (I await your feedback at this level there =) ). In Hpal, there are sometimes slow phases between CDs and this is one of my negatives, I sometimes find the gameplay monotonous, even if I find it fun.
I don’t plan on playing Retribution or Protection Paladin (I don’t really like their gameplay), but I do enjoy Shadow and Holy (which will probably tip the scales). While the meta is important to me, I play primarily for fun, and I don’t plan on switching classes every patch, so it’s a long-term choice.
I wanted to hear your opinions and feedback on these two specs. I’m sure it will help me choose.
Thank you
