Hi, I’m back to the game after a while and I’ve seen the april’s post about the reduced downloading speeds for the wow client and patches and I understand that. However my downloading speed is constantly around 40KB/s to 200 KB/s tops. My speedtest currently goes to 140Mbps which should be about 17MB/s. My agent downloading settings are set to 0 - which should be unlimited, and I can’t see any other downloads or network usage in my task manager. Am I doing something wrong over here or are there any issues with the downloader?
I would understand if the download was reduced to let’s say 2-3 MB/s but this way, I’m never gonna download those ~55 gigs that are remaining…

Im pretty sure it is the Blizzard servers. There was a CoD update today so it seems that the high demand for that has swamped their servers.
This hasnt been confirmed by Blizz yet but I see a lot of people reporting the same download issues, and I highly doubt that it is a coincidence that the CoD update is also released today
I have the same issue. 500 KB/s max. Did some iperf and tests on Speedtest site and it shows 747Mbps down and 788Mbps up, so all good at my end.
Blizz should use their own download servers at this point.
Download speed normalized now, downloads at full speed, guess it was related to the CoD update and massive number of people downloading
Same here with me max 200 kb/s really frustrating.
