SL/SL Warlock

How good is SL/SL Warlock 1vs1 with full pvp gear. which classes do you lose too. Will rogues win over locks in duel?

Most likely not so good if you play it.

SL/SL is pretty strong in 1v1s and can generally beat most classes. The ones that are the biggest issue for them are Rogues, Warriors and Hunters.

During S1-S2 it’ll be really hard for an SL/SL warlock to beat a rogue. Its not impossible but its pretty hard. Later on during s3-s4 it gets a bit easier but again, its very onesided in the rogue’s favour. A good rogue should never lose against a warlock.

SL/SL can generally beat warriors as well, especially if they have the voidwalker shield active. But all it takes is for the warrior get a few lucky crits and the warlock can get deleted in no time with no way to recover. Again, in later seasons it becomes a bit more favourable for the warlock but it can still be a very uphill battle.

Against a BM Hunter without LoS the warlock just gets deleted. It feels worse than fighting a rogue even. Later on though, again, during s3-s4, especially when most hunters go MM, it becomes far easier for the warlock and they can generally beat hunters. BW is a free IWIN button basically where hunters go on autopilot. Absolutely disgusting.

Mages can beat SL/SL warlocks with very, very, very skillful gameplay on their part. For the mage its an incredibly uphill battle, but its possible. During S1 right now mages are going to have the easiest chance of killing SL/SL warlocks without having to nuke down their pet. Later on, without killing their pet, it becomes near impossible to beat.

Destro warlocks with lucky nether protection procs and no resists on banish can also completely destroy SL/SL warlocks, but its very RNG based.

Enh shamans can eat warlocks for dinner without much issues as well. Their damage output is completely ridiculous, and with the assitance of LoS and kiting inside arenas they can easily outlast a warlock. A warlock could beat an enh shaman but it takes a lot of work by micromanaging the pet to kill totems and setting up fears. If the warlock is able to fear the shaman without his trinket then he can end up winning in most scenarios.

The same can be said for feral druids, but for them its a little bit more difficult if they don’t end up murdering the warlock within 5 seconds of the opener. They are far too vulnerable to fears.

Thats pretty much it. Other classes/specs are also capable of beating an SL/SL warlock but it takes quite a lot of work. Out in the open world though most classes can just outrun an SL/SL warlock. No reason to fight them, and there’s no way they can catch up to you anyway.
