They sure did, although that only went to them commenting on screenshots and not actually assisting players actively in the game, iirc. Well, anwyay! Thanks for the reply, that helps me understand why some people might’ve selected that answer.
I generally believe Blizzard mostly won’t really help players unless there’s a chance it’s something that can potentially harm their roleplayer subscriber count, even if it already makes a very small portion of the entire pie as it is.
They for the most part will react with “Ok it’s cool you’re guys doing it” but they will not go beyond that, unless there’s an outrage (See, CrossRP addon being killed and sharding being introduced to all world zones).
Thank you for the comment, Crowton! I feel the same way, and my research will be centered pretty much around that issue.
Got as far as “how likely are blizzard GMs to help” before bursting into hysterical laughter.
Second question I laughed harder.
RPers drive RP, not Blizzard. Blizzard are often actively harmful when it comes to RP.
Thank you for the input! I am sure that some of these things will indeed appear funny to those who’ve been roleplaying for long, but this questionnaire seeks to provide results to people who might be reading the research and not having heard of WoW roleplaying at all! So! It must be done!
Done.
I’d be interested if you make any further questionnaires purely based on an Rp basis; to learn anything further about this community and where it’s players currently stand.
Contributed, hope the findings are useful for you!
Filled it. Hope it is of use.
Done! I answered that blizzard would help if asked for RPPvP but I’ve realised I believe this because I’ve heard in the past people say they will.
I’ve no experience of it myself, but I’ve also never asked them!
Filled it in! Would love to hear about the results once you’re done with your research, Styrros. ^^
