Now dear Blizz… you shouldn’t by any chance have wiped the item “Small flame sac” by accident?
Because as of right now I’m sitting with the loot of about 200 whelps in my bags and not a single flamesac in sight.
And I’m also pretty sure I had 4-5 of them in my bank from earlier on, and there is non to be found now.
I looked up the stats from the past reported of other players, and the drop rate used to be 10/20 % depending on the mop.

Worst quest I’ve seen in game, and I did every quest in vanilla.
Feels like they removed the item from open world areas, as everyone is saying to get them in Dire Maul. That shouldnt be the only option Blizzard.
I got mine on my first DireMaul run.
However, just wait till you need to fish up 5 catfish from the lake/river outside Karazhan.
To quote from one of my favourite TV series.
“First you will know fear, then you will know pain.”
It took me 2hrs to get all 5 catfish, because I wasn’t paying the AH prices.
The fishing wasnt an issue for me. I do have max fishing skill and the northrend Kaluak fishing rod though. I dunno if that makes any difference.
I got 10 of the fish, sold 5 and that paid for the flame sak as I cba wasting my time in Dire Maul when it didnt drop for me in 5+ runs.
