Smelting? I'm wondering why it ain't working

Hey,

I am terribly sorry if this is not the right place for my question, but I would appreciate it to the Moon if someone helped me out. I haven’t got Smelting on my Zandalari mining… dunno why, but if I open my profession tab -> Mining, the last one under Smelting is “Smelt Thorium”. I’m 69/150 Mining. Thank you!

We don’t smelt the ore any more :wink:

ahm, alright, but you know, I’ve this quest “Ritualistic Preparations” and it actually asks me to smelt storm silver ore, I really wouldn’t have asked but it’s been a day now trying to figure it out and nothing seems to work.

It’s just a quest thing, you right click the quest items near the forge. And you get those items from mining if oyu are on that quest.

Ah I see, I’ve done that quest. When you get that quest you’ll mine more than one type of ore, you get it in addition like a quest item. The quest ores just appear in your bags and have a different name to the regular ore. I can’t remember if I had to go to a forge or not to smelt that, but I just had to click on it.
