Iv done a few posts about smite priests and here it goes again.
@ lvl 40 you can spec to get shadow form, so why not give us a dungeon drop where we can @ lvl 40 go and bye light form from trainer.
Make it easy and just recouler shadow form. In that form you can´t cast any shadow spells, you also get a holy damage bosst of 20%.
In light form your dot from Holy fire gets refreched by Smite and Holy nova gets 25% lesser mana cost. In light form your Penens will ad a debuff on the target for 10 sec and it will make your Smite get a 20% chanse to critt.

This will help alot and will not make us op in any way. We will still suffer from mana problems, but i can live whit that.

i play priest as a healer and I love it, and i dont enjoy shadow spec.
i like your idea. getting a new holy damage spell instead of smite would also be good i think, but imo anything that could make holy priest dd work would be fine for me

Give priests the druid approach:

Smite costs zero mana and had a chance to make Heal instant cast? :wink:

It would be nice if they had aded holy damage spells to the rune Spirit of the redeemer. It would fit good and be a help to the smite priest as we have mana problems.
They could also ad smite and holy fire to the serendipedy rune.
