Hello we have gotten so many wonderful mounts to obtain lately. It would be awesome if we could get a Snail mount like the one Whizzig npc from Timeless Isle is riding on. Thanks

I know we French are mocked by the world for eating snail, but please, bear with me.
We were once children, and when our parents first introduced us to the idea of putting a snail in our mouth, we were all like you: “urgh, gross! I’m not going to do that, that’s disgusting!” - this is every French kid’s reaction right here.
But our parents insist, and so, we get to experience the taste.
It tastes good. It truly does.
Do yourself a favour and try eating snail once in your life. You won’t regret it.

When talking about eating them, I think the proper name is escargot.
This was once planned for WOTLK when Ahn’kahet and Azjol Nerub was planned as a big Zone. It was planned that you would use wallclimbing mounts in the zones. But they gave up on that due to programming reasons (If I remember correct it was not possible for them)
That would have been fun for a while but afraid it would also mess up camera angles.
A sail wearing goggles would be hella cool. Sign me up.
Would it be at a -50% movement speed?
I took the shell off my racing snail - was hoping it would make him go faster - if anything it made him more sluggish . . . .

I liked the snails in Throne of Thunder, they slowly made their way towards a player and if they were afk or unaware and then blew up. Would love something like that.
Taking the shell off a snail is never a good idea. It’s their they contain their fuel.
It’s good for memeing and trolling I guess.
I would trade in my Brutosaur for a Racing Snail. But only if the idle animation is him sleeping and then when you wanna move he takes 5 minutes to wake up. And then movement speed is 1000%.

Good idea, in addition, they should allow the spider mount to climb vertical surfaces as well.
