I love how they changed SnD rank 2 for assassination to increase energy regeneration by 10%, however I think it still is not enough.
Suggestion 1: make it increase energy gain from all sources by 10% (it would increase the energy gain from Venomous Wounds on top of the passive energy regeneration).
Suggestion 2: on top of what it is now, make it increase our crit chance by 5%. That way it will be still worth using on 6+ targets.
Agree with pretty almost anything that would improve and fasten gameplay of assassination, Its still pretty lackluster and boringly slow even with rank 2. Venomous wounds buff or return of the Relentless strikes would be much more useful imho.
I only dislike things to be tied to SnD, because the gameplay as it is looks like now, you keep an eye on 3 maintenance buffs and keep refreshing them forever and theres little to zero window for Envenom finishers… Envenom should be much higher priority to maintain than SnD, so i would rather see cut to the chase coming back for Envenom, to be more usable, rather than spending half of the time refreshing maintenance buffs and other half waiting for already poor and stupid energy regen.
Make assa go to once again.
No please no, Its not like assa was not go to in legion and Bfa but you want to make it go to in SL.
I understand that you enjoy 100 dots on enemy each taking 1% of their max HP but this have to stop.
If you want bursty spec roll sub, if you want sustain one roll assa and if you want to play something similar to fury warriors roll outlaw.
Assa over dying through dr’d cheap shots anyway day of the month. Sub doesn’t deserve the CC and damage its carrying about atm. assa needs a update to gameplay on topic to the subject, its dry and its lost any form of being unique since WOD tbh.
With #1 my concern would mostly be with scaling. Of course, that’s not an issue right now, but a few patches in, things might be different.
#2 Increasing Crit chance isn’t a bad idea, actually. I would maybe add, that maybe it should increase both Crit Chance and Crit Damage of any Direct Damage abilities. Something like that would affect our damage profile, by making ability use being more important, than just autoattacking at range. Effectively, Mutilate, Ambush and Envenom damage would get buffed by SnD this way.
I still maintain, that SnD is a mistake, and it shouldn’t have ever returned. It is outdated, and there are much more engaging ways to make the spec a bit more challenging. Blindside baseline alone would do a world of good for the Spec. Then work on the Talents, and remove and change the dead Talents.
However, as we are stuck with this cobwebbed broken relic from Vanilla, anything to make SnD better is a plus. In the end, though, it’s still putting lipstick on a pig.
