So... about finding people with the [Drop Dead, Gorgeous] FoS?

  • From what I have read, this needs people who already have the FoS for having a t3 set and have a crafter who has the recipe for restoring the items.

  • But all this also needs a craft order to be fulfilled

  • As far as I know, the crafting orders are limited to people on the same server?

  • So, I will somehow need to find an ACTIVE player in some server who has the FoS and get in touch with them.

  • Considering that the resulting materials and resulting items can go in the warband bank, there do not seem to be any issues with making alts and sending all that is needed over without any server transfer shenanigans.

  • So the greatest hurdle will be finding people who are able and willing to do the crafting… I did find at least one of them via the search function but no idea if that person is still active… Is there any maintained list of players who are able and willing to assist in the crafting process? Maybe a discord related to this?

Guild orders are the work around. But you’d have to join the crafter’s guild or have them join yours.

Please tell me more about how that works, I am not 100% up to date with the guild limitation changes.

But that still leaves us with the problem of finding enough of those players

Guild orders just work regardless of what realm you are on. Guilds are cross realm and cross faction. So they are the only way to bypass the realm restriction on crafting.

Good, that leaves us with finding a Drop Dead, Gorgeous Waldo.

I think that there could have been a better system for finding crafters cross realm

Keep in mind it’s cheaper (but slower) but buy from bmah, to craft it costs 2.8m in materials from a vendor.

Can’t you just make a public order for them?

Two problems
the BMAH does not have a consistent supply of the warrior set.
second, I always get outbid. It does not help that the BMAH is vague about when the bids expire.

that would entail me making a public work order that would need to be refreshed for days until someone who can fulfill this order in my low pop server happens to see it

Not true at all far from it some pieces for pala/priest/warrior sets can still go for millions for 1 item, also it is very dependant on which realm you are on.

As opposed to ask for days for someone meeting these exact criteria?
But fair, I mainly asked because I wondered if you could even make these public orders

Because I can look beyond my server. Meanwhile the public work orders are server bound because… Blizzard is Blizzard.
The server has enough pop to snipe the same auctions but not enough to get me a crafter

Think it depends on server to server, mine each piece goes for under 100k usually.
