So about professions

Greetings,

i’d like to quickly talk about professions, i suppose in general, although in my case, it’s BS and Minning specificaly.

First, about crafting profession.

Today i crafted my 3rd top ilvl armor piece, added also the passive bonus to it.
It’s only then when i found out, that i cannot equip more than 2 pieces of equip with this crafted passive ability.
So i was forced to remove the passsive ability.
It’s called Embellish category or something like that.

My question, is why?
Why only 2?
The craft for these top tier craft items are quite expensive and can do it only maybe once in 2 weeks, because i need to gather enough gilded undermine crests to buy Enchanted gilded undermien crest, so it takes time.
It’s not even better than heroic and mythic armor anyway, is it? Raid sets have better passives.
It doesn’t feel rewarding enough without the passive ability.

All i’m asking for, is let us craft these expensive pieces of equips with the passive abilities.
Btw these abilities aren’t even that strong. They’re often just “meh”…

And about gathering professions

Just today, i finally finished my Minning profession, lvled to maximum, very proud of that .
That’s not the reason why i’m mentioning it.
The reason is, what now? What am i supposed to do with the skill points that are slowly piling up? I just finished maxing Minning, and i have already 3 excessive skill points.
It would be nice if we had some option to spend them on something.

Thank you, and have a nice day!

There are a number of reasons for it, the main one being that, outside of the slots you have powerful unique gear to, crafted gear is better than mythic ilvl gear.

They are lower in ilvl by 3, but their unique effect tends to make up for it.

Outside of that it would spark another discussion about how Blizzard is making the game more pay to win.
