Do you even understand how the token system works, and what motivates further purchases? Also, not all hardcore players does boosts.
But I wasnât talking only about tokens, you know?
To dumb it down a bit, core gamers are the ones who are more likely to pay for game time every month, while casuals are much more likely to only pay for game time to test the new thing once and then quit 'til next patch, and rinse and repeat, thus causing that infamous pattern of more players at new content patches. And thatâs if they havenât quit the game already, some only tries the start of a new expansion once and then quits a week or two later, which in turn reduces the likelihood of testing the next expansion, and so on. In other words, reduced engagement leads to less engagement, which in turn leads to quitting the game eventually.
Thatâs why the gameplay itself absolutely canât only be designed for casuals. Or else the feedback loop of reduced engagement causing less engagement in social circles would pretty quickly kill the game entirely. And thatâs why the business model explained above in a previous post is the ideal to aim for.
To dumb it all down into one single line:
Itâs the absolute best to design it to inspire dreams for casuals while hooking the core gamers.
I completely disagree, Playing for 3 days itâs very easy to get into the hall of fame (alliance) This is equivalent to r1 on arena, or get an achievement on the cutting edge, because bosses during the season are nerfed several times in epochal mode, at the end of the season there are just bags of loot that do not make problems with them to deal with, including when the Jailer removed the opportunity to throw away the raiders in epoch-making mode. And nothing changes in the arena during the season, as the MMR has not been added and is not being added.
I think blizzard is obliged to increase the growth of MMR for win streaks, why I now have a lower rating with 51% winrate than I had at the beginning of the game session in the arena today.
why do you even care? you havenât gotten glad in bfa & shadowlands why you even bother about % system like you were getting it every season when it was % based
this is like people at 1.5 complain about meta when meta doesnt really affect till really high rating lol
