Like it or not, competition is healthy. I’m one of those people who have been playing both games for many years – long before all the added attention. I have no desire to see one or the other ‘win’ in some arbitrary way. I want both to succeed so that each are forced to improve.
FFXIV is just in a better position right now. It has been growing over the past few years, the devs obviously care, and WoW is the one under the bigger microscope.
Just have to wait and see if Blizzard take notice or continue to disappoint their base.

As I tire of reminding people, that would be assuming the wow base all want the same thing. I would hazard a guess FF being the current flavour of the week has also had it’s fair share of quitters and people disgruntled at how it’s developed not to THEIR personal taste.
Somehow I don’t see Blizzard rushing to hit the panic button… Just yet.

It’s kinda funny how much some people can hate streamer. Guy just play WoW and have good amount of viewers and that makes you so mad ? or he just said something that you don’t agree with ? Even if you don’t like someone why even bother thinking or talking about him ?

Neither of you are funny but i must commend the both of you for making it so i can’t report for trolling for another day.
It didn’t happen, because it wasn’t necessary. I simply used the example as a way to illustrate that young people are more inclined to spend their money on entertainment and fun than older people are.
And contrary to what you’re saying, then they do actually have a lot of money to spend.
It’s not really something to discuss. It just is the desired target customer group for a lot of consumer industries. And certainly also for the gaming industry.
No that’s not what I said and it paints them in a very negative light.
They’re very keen on spending money, because they have no expenses and their basic needs are covered by others.
They simply drive a lot of consumer spending.

That’s what WoW needs, some competition. I don’t care about Asmongold or FF but I’m happy that the WoW teams gets a wake up call every once in a while.
