Enjoy the competition; maybe they got something that would be an improvement for WoW! And asmongold, being a huge influencer, setting, for the public eye, a step in that direction.
I got bored tho with the start. The game has a huge intro and it just has me bored. It seems unskipable too, so i went and played some Sims4
I think Asmon could stream tiddlywinks and still get a high viewership. They watch for him.

I had a go at final fantasy recently because of annie showing it on her stream, i had played it years ago but didn’t stick with it, i made a new character and played for a bit, not high enough level for the chocobo yet, it’s a nice game, but quite different to wow, i don’t think there’s any competition between the two

Their money is their parents. Adult people that get free money being way more likely to spend it for fun rather than just hoard it too. Or pay some bills and after that have money left after. Young people are an unreliable steady source as they change what they spent their dollars on way too quickly unlike older people that keep spending money for their hobbies that is keeping them going. Your countries plan was most certainly to have them spent the money let us say equally across the market rather than Adults who funnel their free money into more of the same kind of fun like going out for dinner.
It is something to discuss. Just because it is the target group for a lot of industries it does not mean that there are not ones that cater to older people or that older people do not spend their money if they can. Younger people spend their money on everything that has a price tag.
Teenager have a limited amount they can spend. The most attractive target group would be older single people without children as they have the money and are going to spend a whole lot of it. Younger people are attractive because they are exploitable plus because they are that many.
So… exploitable?
