How did you reach that conclusion? Was there some news that dropped that I missed?
I don’t care for Cata myself, but a short Cata lifetime would be disappointing for fans of the expansion, so I hope that Blizz doesn’t cut it short.
Cata comes out 20 may and with what got leaked dragon soul is releasing 2025 jan

Thanks for the update! I’m content with Era myself, but it would be a shame if Blizz manages to ruin the experience for Cata fans.
So its about year, 3-4 month for last phase+ prepatch of pandas.
Wish it was like 3-5 month longer.

5 raids whole expansion, 3 on launch. how long did u expect it to last?

I understand I’m a minority, but the roadmap looks too short to me. I actually enjoyed Cata back in the days and was looking forward to play it again. It’s a bit sad more people (or even Blizzard) doesn’t seem hyped about Cata.
It’s super short per their announcement and given that they’re consolidating servers 2 weeks prior to it’s release it seems like they don’t have great hopes for it whatsoever.
Yeah blizzard also know that it is a dead expansion so they just quickly rush it.
Although MOP will be even more garbage so kinda lul why they even waste their time on these trash expansions, but guess they want everyone to go back playing on private servers.
This roadmap is only good for hardcore players
But casual guilds, casual players or new players…what do they do?

Why you care? No one is going to play it and if you wanna try it you won’t find anyone to play with. OG players scattered to SoD, HC and rest left to Warmane by cancelling their sub bro.
