Generally yes. I sincerely hope they break the “dead, always” rule ONCE just for kael’thas so the character may actually get some proper treatment in story and give the blood elves a nice titular figure back (Lor has done well and he’d stay in charge as Kael ceded powers to him) but having Kael opposite Jaina would be neat for the conflict. Plus The Blood Elves are magical, and yet their two most iconic characters atm are not even arcane users. Aethas Sunreaver does not count and neither does Rommath as they are only wheeled out when needed. Liadrin and Lor actually pop up here and there.
you have to say who are what as we cannot read your mind.
I can’t understand anything you say. Pot kettle black.
because you arn’t trying.
No…you just don’t make sense. You just preach “Horde Bias” and “Horde Privilege” and that’s all you truly say. Small words with no sense.
You look like a she male after the eye rework, it would be nice to cover your head with a helm, just a friendly suggestion so that we don’t see your face
We can add this to the list “not a Horde bias” .
how do you mean by the last part as i don’t get it?
Little opinions from little people on the internet aren’t really my concern.
State facts and not your baseless opinions.
sounds to me like you’re just being edgy.
Pot kettle black and your whining for high elf paladins.
i’m not whining i’m stating facts but you just always wana be right.
I am right. As is Brigante.
Guess what - true facts don’t care about either of your feelings.
you keep acting as if i’m a crying child but i’m not the only one here acting as one’s you.
Never thought I would see the day. I’m saving this for future reference
Nightborne Druids only if High Elves are made and get to be playable.
Thalassian Elves remain Paladin
Darnassian Elves remain Druids.
Who are you to become a druid you arcane degenerates, even your ears are not straight, discount Elf ears
You don’t have to play one…it’s not a requirement.
Thankfully not, she is free of the Windrunner Pox and actually sticks to her own Species, according to ‘Blood of the Highborne’ her and Lor’themar are a low key thing.
Ahh, yes, I forgot the name of that chap who saved the world once, became World Shaman, what was his name again? Rhymes with ‘ball’.
So that is a definition of Alliance Bias. Cool.
So let me get this right. Your idea of Horde Bias, is Blizzard trying to go not all out crazy with Alliance super powers, after having gone all out crazy by giving the Alliance super powers in the first place? That’s some tricksy logic there… So the Alliance get given super powers, which is Alliance Bias, however Blizzard want to tell a balanced narrative, so for whatever reason they don’t smash the Horde, and that somehow is -Horde- Bias? Did they not think about maybe not making the Alliance OP in the first place. So given that you think that the Alliance having these super powers is fine, and the fact that they can’t just smash the Horde with a flick of their wrist is Horde Bias, this means that the acceptable position for them to take in your eyes, would be that the Alliance has their super powers and stupidly hard characters, and basically just annihilates the Horde who do not have these stupidly OP powers?
Does that not sound a teensy bit biased to you? Or is that somehow still Horde Bias?
Lets try not to bring author’s favourites into a discussion, it gets embarrassing. We all know Jaina’s floating ship of ghosty magic is a lore abomination, created only to give her a Jaina ex Machina moment. Besides, Whilst those cannons fire spoopy ghost Arcane (Lore breaking much, those two schools of magic don’t mix) We have no proof that they can fire further than normal cannons.
WHat you should be really asking yourself is why people are so afraid of Blight? If a Spell that a level 3 Mage can cast can render it harmless, or indeed the Cold, then I guess all those people who died at Wrathgate were just pretending, eh? if so I guess the joke was on them when the Red Dragons turned up and torched the joint.
Or…Or is it just Jaina that can cleanse Blight by casting basic magic? In which case, shouldn’t she be getting her backside over to Gilneas and sorting it out? That’s what I’d be saying, if I was Genn Greymane….
Looks like Alliance power creep got a bit embarrassing and they’re trying to dial it in a little…
And Saurfang could have just smashed through his Root and got into the fight. I mean he -is- a Warrior, they can do that…
“Ahh, but Malfurion is a Demi-God”
Yes, yes he is, what a shame they couldn’t stick to him being a vastly powerful Druid and had to make him this laughable pigeon/cat/stag man with Godly powers… Why, anyone would think he was Alliance, given the stupidly hard power level he has…ahh…wait…
No they don’t. You -want- one, they don’t -need- to.
Also, make up your mind, which is it you want, playable High Elves on Alliance, or just to be able to play a High Elf Paladin…
(Before anyone mentions Gidwin and Tarenar, they are both very young, and Tarenar -is- a Blood Elf, not an Alliance High Elf. He mentions sneaking off to fight Undead in the Ghostlands in his Youth, which was about 15 or so years ago. There -were- no Undead in Ghostlands before Arthas invaded, and it wasn’t called Ghostlands until after he had invaded, ergo Tarenar is in his very young thirties -at most-)
Because I may have some bad news for you on that front, regarding the only High Elf Paladin in lore who was Silver Hand and who was trained by Uther himself.
That’s proof of the existence of High Elves. We knew that. We have proof of Ogres in the Horde, doesn’t mean you can play one (Thank the Gods, in my opinion).
True, they are the same biological species, identical, however there is some bad news about the one High Elf Paladin if the Silver Hand we know of in lore.
Do you have a source for this, or is it just wish fulfilment? As far as is known fact currently, neither of them is coming back.
Uther and Arthas are most definitely dead.
There are exactly Two High Elf Paladins in lore, Rulen Lightsreap and Isimode.
There were more High Elves in the Silver Hand, but they joined the Blood Knights.
Uther’s own Pupil Mehlar Dawnblade, was a High Elf Paladin of the Silver Hand, who is now staunchly a Blood Elf, and Blood Knight.
High Elf paladins can exist, but are it seems very rare, even amongst the High Elves who are themselves rare.
But then, look at how many people play Void Elves and there are hardly supposed to be any of them to speak of.
Liadrin : Turalyon? Hmm! This should be interesting…
Turalyon: Indeed it should, Lady Liadrin. I look forward to striking down a twisted, villainous paladin of the Horde.
Considering voice acting of Liadrin I wouldn’t say so. She sounded thirsty
Trust me, as someone who narrates Audiobooks, therefore a Professional Voice Actor, you can never always guarantee how people hear what you say is what you meant when you say it!
