So Horde Bias rising again!

Still waiting on official numbers here. Last time I checked Nelves and Humans players are well numbered on their own.

no as i already do them or don’t you know how to check somone’s armory as i have the cloak on level 8.

Meh.

I love races from both sides but Alliance seems the underdog which is my favourite.

Plus I get pretty much instant Bg ques on horde I have to wait like 10mins -_-‘.
That and I am still yet to unlock Dark Iron.

I mean a fiery beard? Come on nothing beats that. Nothing!

You might not be aware of it but the numbers are based on the global ones online in the WM. Your suggested “waiting for official numbers” have nothing to do with it.

A holy flaming beard does.

So to disagree with you makes someone garbage? Very convincing line of debate. You might want to work on that before entering the workplace, that doesn’t tend to go down well in employment.

bi·as

/ˈbīəs/

noun

    1. prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair:

That is a direct definition of Bias from a dictionary, I even left in their cruddy American spelling of the word ‘favour’.

War Mode is not biased towards Horde. By definition it cannot be. It means activating a mode which all players have access to opt in or out of, at will, which offers a slight bonus if partaken of. Now If Horde could opt in and out of Warmode whenever they liked, whereas Alliance had to pay gold to do so, -that- would be Horde Bias, or if Horde could activate War Mode constantly, but Alliance could only do so for an hour per day, -that- would be Horde Bias. War Mode as it stands, has no bias whatsoever.

Both Factions have exactly the same options and benefits, there is ergo, no Bias.

They even introduced the ‘pity bonus’ for the Outnumbered Faction to try and persuade them (We’ll come back to that one, as it actually -does- show Bias).

The overall Faction balance is pretty much 50/50, I think there is what, 4% in it, 52% Horde to 48% Alliance (Trust me, those are not percentages I am likely to forget, as a Brit :frowning: ) So there really is no bias.

However, more Horde are willing to activate War Mode than Alliance. That is by choice of both parties, Blizzard is not forcing the issue. The numbers could be equal, but Alliance don’t seem to like War Mode as much as Horde do, and you know what? That’s just fine and dandy. I personally loathe PvP myself, so I rarely flag for PvP, but hey, that’s my choice.

However, there is an element of Bias here, and I don’t even think it is intentional at all, hence I comment upon it when War Mode is mentioned, but don’t start Forum threads screeching about Alliance Bias, even though, this is the only biased thing about War Mode.

RP realms are on a separate shard from all other realms. This is to prevent RP’ers being shunted out of their Capitals whilst RPing, or out of RP events elsewhere in the world to maintain numbers. This is a -Very- Good thing for RP realms.

However.

The Warmode Bonus is decided by Zone, not by Shard. Because Less Alliance than Horde activate Warmode in the EU, the 30% bonus covers the whole zone. This means that in RP Realms, where the population is 70% Alliance to 30% Horde, that the outnumbering Faction gets a Bonus of 30%, and the Outnumbered Faction does not get a bonus for being Outnumbered.

Now that, ladies and gentlemen, -is- Bias. It is rigging the system to make it inherently unfair to Horde players on RP realms. What makes this worse, is that we now have PvP Tourists from Alliance on other Realms, who ask for Invites to Argent Dawn, so that they can be the vastly outnumbering faction and -still- get that sweet 30% bonus, thus further increasing the Faction imbalance and yet still being benefitted for doing so.

There’s Bias for you. If you want to take that up as one of your moral crusades, be my guest. I suspect, as it shows Bias in favour of Alliance, that you’re not interested so much…

How about a nice shiny blue button that just says “I Win” and gives you all the top end gear? I’m not even sure if this classes as sarcasm anymore, as your other demands are about as nonsensical…

You have to stop using “Horde Bias” as some crutch for any point you are trying to make, because frankly, it has become a joke, you have become a joke, and people find it hard to take you seriously, which damages your cause, as if you ever -do- have a serious point to make, people are less inclined to take it seriously, because it is you making it.

Seriously, not everything in this computer game is some shadowy cabal of Blizzard developers conspiring against Alliance you know?

next time say it short as i prefere not to read that much just make it more simple

It pointless discussing if they make or not make sense lore-wise because it will not happen gameplay-wise. Horde should get Nathanos undead model long time ago because clearly not all Forsaken are at the last stage of decaying and we dont have them /shrug

Can you try again in English? I have absolutely no idea what that means…

Perfectly balanced, Ny’alotha raiding guilds.

Why don’t the Alliance just kill more bosses?

Because people who were able to kill more bosses swapped factions because of racial advantages Horde had. i.e Method, world first champion of last 3 races, perhaps more I wasn’t into watching these in the past.

Why don’t the current Alliance guilds kill more bosses then?
Is it too hard? Too many mechanics?

Why is it that Method was “the best” both while on Alliance and while on Horde?

Weren’t all these guilds?

If it was possible to stand on the top on Alliance side then they would not change their faction, they had to change.

Besides you have some comprehension problems I guess, argent dawn troll :smile_cat:

But weren’t they on top while on Alliance?
Why is it impossible?

They were until Blizzard kept giving Horde advantage so they had no chance but to swap factions upon losing a race because of racials. You can google it if you are so into this  there are countless videos related to faction imbalance.
