No way to be spell hit capped and have enough crit for fire to work until late t5 early MH/BT even if you dropped pieces to wear 3 set spellfire gear and had a dreani SP in your group .

I had 3-piece Spellfire and 2-piece Spellstrike and I can’t remember what else. Most other mages I saw running around were also Fire in Kara, Gruul, and Mag. I think it was 10/48/3 with Clearcasting, although I think some were running with an Icy Veins build. In T5, I’m pretty sure I was Arcane-Frost.

Granted, I wasn’t on a hardcore realm and pretty much everyone was various shades of bad. I just don’t remember other variations in T4, like deep frost, for example.

I don’t understand why people still think druids can’t tank in vanilla, they are completely fine OTs in raids, they can MT most of the bosses alteast pre-Nax, they are better dungeon tanks than warriors without Thunderfury and way better dungeon tanks pre level 60.
