I read the Exploring Azeroth: Northrend. And it went just as expected. Drakkari are still a dead tribe. No update on the Taunka or if they have retaken their main village. It is narrated by Brann Bronzebeard and it ends with a comment about how the Frostborn Dwarfs who live near Ulduar are invited to Ironforge. I advise everyone to not buy this book if you expect something like the first part of the series. Let’s just wait for the Outland one hopefully with a writer who is not part of the alliance. Maybe an Etheral or a Mag’har.

The book reflects the crappy writing of the WotLK story in general. The Alliance helped clearing out the cultists and undead from Taunka city, but still Taunka isn’t any friendly to the Alliance.
After the war with the Jailer Taun’kale was overrun with leaderless scourge and Brann makes a comment that the Taunka will not return there. Icemist seem also to be in control of the scourge still despite the Horde quests where we set the chieftain free. Once again Blizzard craps on Horde allies.
What does this mean?
