And it shouldn’t be considered for raiding? I am planning to switch main to Warlock for raiding in 9.1 (heroic - several mythic bosses). Will I be a meme if I play Demo? I don’t like both afl/destro in pve;

I don’t think it is a meme, but it is not as easy as destruction or Affliction. You need to time the Tyrant.

Only for single target. Destruction will be the best for most encounters.

Also, Shards of Domination do currently not work with pets so this is going to cripple Demo severely.

Yea, it’s currently defined as a “bug” but we’re not sure if it something Blizzard is going to fix. At least BM hunters and Unholy DKs also have this issue so we’re not alone.

I agree the MoP demo was fun, and WoD for that matter. While I cannot pretend to have PvP experience as demonology warlock in recent expansion I think the setup part issues you have is because you play PvP with a PvE spec. And while demonic consumptions is just awesome when your tyrant smacks something it might be better to run a different build that doesn’t require setup.

I did try some in BFA with soul strike, power siphon, inner demons, sacrificed souls and the PvP talent pleasure through pain and a succ pet. I have no idea how it would work now but DeCon isn’t a PvP friendly talent for sure!

The Demonbolt build is the bigger set up. Right now the Tyrant build is the only viable option for demo.

Destruction can no good, but its boring as hell. Only generating Shards for chaos bolt.
Affli was good, too they nerfed it…

Raids doesn’t reflect how spec plays, because raids is a highly predictable environment.
Demo despite it good sims won’t be good for all players because of how it actualy plays.

And for years ppl claims demo will be good, demo will be viable and despite strong raw dps numbers, people abandon demo because of how it plays - how badly it feels in dynamic enviroment, and not on dummies.
