So I played the Beta and I think this is unfair

Warning for Spoilers at your own danger:

Despite the whole expansion being set up in HORDE territory Blizzard isn’t very subtle to throw as many alliance characters our way as possible. Like Umbric, Arator and Valeera(yes she is alliance deal with it). That shouldn’t happen. The blood elves shouldn’t be ignored in favor of the weekly alliance squad yet again after TWW was such a disaster. All content creators agree too and we are damm tired of this situation. You can do better Blizzard really.

Blizzard clearly stated that midnight is the expansion of elven reunite, everyone you mentioned - high elves with minor changes due to recent events.

I haven’t seen a single Horde elf so far no. The Nightborne are nowhere to be seen and weven the weekly rep grind is done by Aethas(whom everyone hates) instead of Rommath. Blizzard once again lied to use to make Hordies keep subbed despite the whole lore once again catering to the blue faction.

Lor’themar? Rommath? Halduron? Liadrin? Are them joke to you?

Same as night elves. It’s only about High elves and their mutations.

Are all not part of the initial leveling story. And it shows.

IF that was true the light vanguard full of humans wouldn’t be there either.

Is this supposed to be a good thing?

When you have two factions in the game but keep favoring one of them then that is infact a big problem especially in the story. Blizzard lies all the time to keep the Horde fanbase engaged who would otherwise cancel their subs after being ignored for 9 years straight.

I have been playing long enough to have seen this very same text by someone complaining how much attention Blizzard was giving the Horde.

You have to choose:

  • Either you want a storyline balanced for both factions and the result is a bland, tasteless Icecrown Citadel-like “I hate you but I also need to cry for your kid” thing.
  • Or you allow them the freedom to spotlight one faction or character from time to time to try and develop stories that go beyond the “we need to balance this or they’ll complain” fear.

Liadrin and Halduron? Duude they leading us into zul’aman and harandir and Liadrin were with us almost on every single quest in zul’aman, you sure you played in midnight zones?

Vanguard summoned by the light, that has nothing to do with your expectations. Since Sunwell has naaru blessing, or partially even naaru’s nature it’s not yours, not even horde overall to decide what to do there with xal’atath invasion.

Literally the only time in the game when the Horde got more stuff was Cataclysm. Never again after that. Alliance fans acting traumatized over something from 15 years ago is peak comedy and hypocrisy.

The Horde should be present. End of debate.

I mean, WoD’s Alliance stuff was amazing, eh? Humans everywhere you looked at, elves went back in time to rally an army of dwarves called the Iron Hammer, and then you had this absolute win of a story of a human meeting his alternative parents.

OH now you ignore all the lore the Draenei got. Lmao I can’t even with you.

Yes, in a place it should be - little silvermoon ghetto.

I’m not ignoring it. They got a few good cinematics, and then went right into the “forget box” a few patches later.
What great draenei lore was there in Hellfire Citadel? Tanaan Jungle?

I just want to know why they made her look like Shadowheart from BG3..

Having evil Orcs from a different universe is not Horde content. Also the only friendly Orc clan was the Frostwolf.

At the same time we see Draenei civilization as its peak. Try being honest for once.

Yes, and the peak was for……. nothing.
Nothing happened, nothing was done, nothing was developed.
Even the supposed Shattrath raid was scrapped in favor of endless orc raids.

Orcs being enemies and not even being part of our faction doesn’t mean its Horde content. Meanwhile Yrel and her army conquered all of Draenor and turned the Mag’har into refugees.
