So is Naga Trinity the best mouse for World of Warcraft?

I made a thread the other day and I was surprised people kept mentioning mmo-specific mice and that one in particular. Is it really the best choice (on average)?

like 10 years been playing with simple logitech mouse for 5 EUR, it was just fine…now have other for 10 EUR.

by the way, i click. So, im the GOD!

-sincerely the clicker.

Im using mionix naos because its comfortable i have only 3 extra buttons but ergonomy is unmatched

This guy knows what’s up. I’ve never paid out of the nose for something that was made to click. If anything, i find a mouse with all kind of knobs and doodads on the side incredibly bothersome. My current mouse came for free with my PC and it’s the cheapest piece of plastic that was ever spawned on this earth, works just fine. If it can click, it can play a game. No need to get all flashy with it.

Indeed. A mouse is a tool for you to use, not RL money dump. Sure it can be better or worse, but in the end of the day it is a tool and it has to do what you require. If it does that, good, if it doesn’t, out with it. For the specific purpose of playing WoW it should have 2 buttons, a wheel, maybe some thumb button/s and that’s it. And maybe not cause you to get RSI due to wrong size/grip/whatever.

Shameless advertisement here: Logitech MX 518 is the way and the light if you have large palms & long fingers. I’m still using the one that came bundled with my Asus G50V laptop back in the 2008. It’s a big, comfortable, indestructible rat that is likely to outlive all other components of your PC. 2 buttons, a wheel, 2 thumb buttons, DPI controls and that’s it. No 4x4 thumb macro grids. No claw grip required. Got remake recently that’s pretty much the same mouse, just a bit improved thanks to better materials because it didn’t need anything else. Decent cost instead of sky-high price tag like Razers that you pay an arm and leg for because it’s not mouse, it’s RAZER, so you will sell your kidney for a gaming tool

I still have my Razer Naga from 2012 and I won’t bother buying another until this one breaks or reaches that joke of a ā€œclick-limitā€ which was a thing then.

I understand why people would pick this mouse over any other. Then again, I don’t smash my mouse against the table while having a rage-quit impulse or let dirt/nacho leftovers jam the buttons et cetera. I can’t speak for everyone.

I recommend it though.

I’d say the Corsair Scimitar is a superior product. Better build quality, better software (with Mac support) and cheaper. I’m now using a Chinese brand off Ali called Red Dragon. Was the only wireless MMO mouse I could find besides the highly overpriced Razer and only cost like Ā£30. Wasn’t expecting much, but after 2 months of use, it’s been great. Full charge lasts me a day of gaming with RGB turned on.

See, others can also play your game…

I always found controlling the camera and skills with the same hand to be a bit of a mess. Especially in pvp where camera control actually matters. I’m playing with a 10 euro logitech mouse and it works perfectly fine. No class has so many buttons that my left hand can’t keep up.

Ah yes, IĀ“ve noticed this mouse too. I’m still using the 2014 naga mouse, still works n all but sooner or later I will need a new one since the wheel is kinda pooped.

I use a Deathadder Elite because I love the 2 side buttons… I use one to target next enemy. Had it a while and it’s still going strong.

Yes. It is.

Razer products are notoriously poor build quality, i have had 2 nagas, both were good but started having input lag on mouse1 and mouse2 after a while and the lazer would sometimes freeze.

Nagas are good, but again don’t expect a super long lifespan on them if you use them every day, and not only for wow.

I would suggest the Logitech G600 if you can still find them in stores.

The one thing I’ve learned is the best one is the one thats most comfortable for you. Personally the naga is way too small for my hands.

I do not think I could play WoW without the 12 side buttons panel of the naga trinity

I dont know how to play wow without 12 buttons on mouse any more. I playing with MMO mouses few years, since cata …before i bought MMO mouse i clicked spells xD How ever i don’t have good opinion about Razer Naga i have 2 and both have problems with sensor. I using some Corsair model now. To be honest in my opinion it’s better then last Naga, those panels with buttons in Naga don’t look reliably.

DeathAdder since 2010 I think? Once the previous one broke after 10 years of service, I bought the new one! The ergonomy is top notch

I have the mouse, razer naga trinity, bests mouse I have ever bought.
