I like caves, and hitting a wall isnt a problem, if you try to fly off the continents isles in the rest of the world you just die from fatigue instead. Atleast an actual wall makes sense
Literally. Logically you should be able to fly from Kalimdor to eastern kingdoms but I guess technical limitations or whatever so we have fatigue and eventually invisible walls. Here at least there’s a reason we can’t fly miles off the coast or what would be the coast. Honestly the way they’ve done it this time feels much more interesting then zaralek caverns.
I just hate caves, not only the claustrophobic feeling but also because unless your monitor is in total darkness you cant see what is going on!
Ive accepted that I have to play with a baseball cap on so I can see the screen but a couple of times Ive landed near a rare and barraged with no idea what on earth I was hitting!LOL
there is only 1 location that looks like generic cave, hallowfall might as well be on surface and azj kahet is an undeground city with big Naggarond/Commoragh/Menzoberranzan vibes
Uhm… yeah, basically. This is the cave expansion. 3 out of 4 zones are underground and almost all the dungeons and all the delves and raids are as well.
It’s called The War WITHIN for a reason.
So if you don’t live caves I’m afraid you’re not going to enjoy yourself very much, though Blizzard has (in my opinion wrongly) tried to lessen the feeling of being underground.
However I will make an exception with Hallowfall. That concept is absolutely incredible. They need some engine work but the idea and the art is exquisite.
