It’s much more fun than normal torghast, that’s for sure. I only did 1 and 2 yesterday but enjoyed getting all those powers immensely.

Well, you really aren’t missing anything from it unless you want to go after the achievements themselves.
i dont think it was okey, it felt as if i had to have certain amount of X powers. and if i fail to get those, i could just forget it. thats my bm pow. could be better for other classes/specs.
Honestly, i kept resetting the gauntlet until I got the specific powers that were useful. Good trick but if your spec entirely has nothing good then not much you can do.

I only did 3 layers so far, but it got boring after the second one. It’s quite repetitive and with no replay value whatsoever.
From layer 5 it relies completely on rng with powers. If you dont get good powers at start you just have to keep resetting. Very bad.
I did 4 layers for the mount with my Warrior as Arms/Venthyr ilvl232. It was hard, not going to lie my character was clenching bum cheeks to survive from moment to moment, damage output pretty close to the limit.
I’ve not played in a year so I’m rusty but I don’t recommend doing it at that low ilvl. After floor 3 it was mostly smooth sailing due to the right powers. That’s kinda it, with lottery luck on powers it’s probably easy, I had good damage powers but didn’t get the DBTS one until floor 3-4, floors 1-3 were very difficult, very on the edge no stone unturned kinda stuff.
I think it’s fun as a concept, seems like a waste to do another Twisting Corridors that has no replayability tho.
Eh, the recommended ilvl is 280 for layer 5.
I’m going to be chilling with it for a bit given this, lol.
Finished layer 4 today with a couple of friends. We all agreed that it was way more fun than regular Torghast. Can usually get some pretty crazy builds going from floor 5-8.
I’ve only done the first three layers so far but I’ve enjoyed it. Soloing it with some of the powers made me feel like a God, other times there was a bit of a challenge depending on which mobs spawned…was a good balance. I like it doesn’t take as long as the ‘traditional’ Torghast.
Plus having my pet increase in size by 300% just made things even more crazy…but in a good way. 
I just this minute finished Layer 1, which was much, much easier than I expected.
I’ll try L2 tomorrow. There’s only so much Torghast I can stand before my brain dribbles out my ears … and my dry cleaners said they WILL NOT take those in again!

Finished Layer 4 Today, Got Mount.
Torghast is now over for me. I never need to go there ever again.
Although, I will say Jailers Gauntlet was a lot more fun than other Torghasts, but I’m still done.
