You cannot escape it, you cannot control it, you cannot tank and you cannot burst it. paladins are simply impossible to win they one shot me even when im in tank gear and spec. its getting ridicoulus. its taking the fun out of pvp and sod basically. there needs to be a nerf about it. Everyone is saying it just nerf them or nerf the damage done and increase the heal done in PVP. makes no sense taking the fun out of it playing wow
I am curious why Kor Kron Enforcers rerolled to TBC classic servers. can you please elaborate Vorosh’s decision?
Sorry Problemmann pls don’t be mad <3
The Naxx and Scarlet Enclave phases feature paladin / scourge - themed content so the surge of paladins is as expected as the influx of DKs and paladins in Wrath and the influx of Demon hunters in Legion
Short answer is yes, but they also solid in pve
Paladins have been OP throughout all of SoD, you’ve just had certain people (Wave) denying it the whole time.
And then there are people that are too afraid to admit shamans are OP.
It’s awful how some people have this ability to lie just because it suits them.
Lie or having actual experience by playing both paladin and shaman? At this point people might just wanna reroll to paladin just to get roflstomped by OP racials and the actual FOTM classes.
And how do we know that? Can you prove it?
Tank* shamans any other rune/gear shamans get roflstomped in PvP all the same, paladins are blasting with any and every spec and gear combo.
You can do any setup with shamans and have success.
Rets are blasting only with 2+4pc T2 and the sealbearer/tempest shoulder enchant.
You have to wear 4pc T2 and sacrifice loads of stamina whilst being limited by CDs.
Or you go Shockadin which needs 5pc ZG, again power behind a setbonus.
As a shaman you can actually use PvP gear without having to need specific tier set bonuses. That’s a lot of freedom than paladins will never have. But let’s be honest, the “PvPers” roll horde, get owned and come back here to drop their tears because their FOTM doesn’t beat whatever paladin is.
Classic Wavé straw man argument.
I think the vast majority of shaman players on this forum agreed certain aspects(Burn/Power Surge especially) were broken and/or leading to bad game play for people fighting shamans.
What a lot of shaman players did counter was the ridiculous extent to which people like you were asking for nerfs.
If it were up to you Shamans would be playing SoD in the classic form- with no runes, and some more nerfs on top to things like Purge. This is why no one could/can take you seriously.
All the while you were spouting like “paladins are the worst class in SoD”. Which was never the case from the start of SoD. Warriors and even Rogues, Mages had much rougher patches than Paladins. But I guess you are fine with that since those classes are supposed to be fodder for you.
Because they don’t like being fodder for once and are afraid, but by that point they rerolled to the next FOTM class so their class can still beat the “OP” paladins.
Not expecting you to understand but hey keep the gaslighting on with “OP” paladins whilst there are worse offenders.
Rogues having rough patches? Never played p2 and p3? And even after p3 they were in a fair place in PvP.
Mages had a good time whilst BM was actually played.
Warriors and rets whilst BM was a thing was just depression in comparison.
Clowns still yapping whilst hiding in PvE CONTENT.
We were literally given new poisons that buffed the raid because no one wanted to take a rogue…
Yet you still do damage? You provide a valuable OS in tank (yes it’s good stop denying it) + kicks + poison etc.
Your performance is still good in PvP, nothings changed.
I think rogue tanks are ok yea but little dependant on there being no stuns or heavy magic dmg.
Damage wise we are ok, not top but not the bottom. Also kick? Lol who even casts in pvp these days
Kick for PvE on KT pretty good cuz rets dont do kicks, or people screw up kicks anyways, and you can still interrupt if they tried so, you are better off having it then not having it.
raid cooldowns exist for a reason, can’t die with a competent group.
I don’t give a flying F about SoD PvP anymore. Only a geriatric moron would take SoD PvP this seriously as you do. I don’t care if Paladins are the bomb atm, they can stay as they are or get even stronger, you won’t see me asking for nerfs. Stop wetting your adult diaper.
You are acting as if you are playing the top, most competitive PvP game out there and you got money on the line… even live WoW has better PvP game play than what this SoD turned into…
Yes, patches means short/medium periods of time. Rogues weren’t in a good spot after the Mutilate nerf and before the BS mega buffs. And even now they aren’t as strong even as they were even in classic- if you compare all class power levels to classic.
Mages had it rough before the icelance buffs, only the best mage sweat lords who used their cooldowns well were doing good. But that took some skill.
Warriors? Are you seriously suggesting rets were at warrior levels… not even worth to elaborate here if this is your opinion.
Hey mr uber rank 1 gladiator, you do know people can have multiple chars right? I’ve got a shadow priest and mage on Living Flame alliance too(the only ones I PvP anymore with) but keep grasping at straws with your “umg pve noob” kindergarden level
. Fits your like a glove.
Also rogue is only good every 10 mins. With things on CD we are basically useless. Vanish shoulder enchant making it 1 min CD is good but vanish is easily countered these days with aoe spells, which every class has now. I would say rogue is very much mid tier when it comes to pvp and pve.
