It has been strengthened, and DK has been the slowest in the game for several expansions …

what if i told you the last few expansions were merely a setback…
Man, that trailer broke something inside of me i didn’t know was still there.
On top of that no new races or classes and another borrowed power system.
I hope we get at least some class reworks.
I still can’t believe how much this cinematic bummed me out…

They still didn’t talked about wow it was just the preview.
We will know more about that later on. Chill, it will come.
I’m gonna take a wild guess that we are going to form a new helm of domination or equivilent across the expansion and maybe a true lich king will be crowned, Bolvar, after all wasn’t really into the whole death god thing after all.
maybe mograine will turn evil again and fill the role along with the other horsemen.

u guys realize the thunder king was miles ahead in power from the lich king with frostmourne and all the consumed souls?
even shadowedge (what happen to it btw? ) could in essence match frostmourne.
now imagine bolvar non-feeding in souls, but then again powerlevels matter not in the story.
regardless, im curious how bolvar now being an underdog will request aid from acherus or his new “covenent” of hellfire allied race DKs

what we know is that sylvanas made the faction war so the souls could be funneled to it

We keep hearing about him, but we have never seen him. Maybe that is him?
I’d say the Lich King acts a bit like Nightmare from Soul Calibur. Just because someone is Nightmare, doesn’t mean they are the strongest.
So while Arthus was strongest, Bolvar was still strong. Maybe still weak after cheat coding so many new Player Strength Death Knights into the world…
Hope they play it like a call to arms or something - “Death Knights, we are under siege” or some such.
Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing the DKs serving the greater power in the maw, whatever that turns out to be
well with the lich king gone, and the veil shattered, this would likely mean that all the undead in the world are free to tap into as much power from the shadowlands that they want.
Some death knights may turn rogue because of this… no pun intended.
