Me? Oh, I’m glad you ask. Well… Let’s say a prison full of any kind of bandits isn’t the best place to be.
Eh? The walls, why should I be worry about the Walls?
W-what!? My diseases can go through them? I didn’t know my Virulent Plague was that strong.
Now, in all seriousness, I want to address (or perhaps complain) this issue. I don’t expect to be fix since we are at the last patch of the expansion but Blizzard, for the love of Kel’Thuzad, next time you design a dungeon like this try to fix this bug.
Today I did a Tol Dagor +12 and the Priest most of the time was in combat because spells bugged mobs, same goes for Unholy Plagues and Pet.
when upheaval in M16 1 shots you on tyrannical trough def cds… so every time not in meld I die … thanks. Fun dungeon.
Need more stamina, I think.
But the wall issue is something i have given up on. My both dks have developed ability to pull TD mobs people never seen before in entire BfA. Frost dk has trait that while sometime spulls trough walls in places, then in TD it has managed to pull under floor and above too… now that’s truly unique to TD.
Indeed. Every time I get a Tol Dagor key I feel part of my ‘soul’ vanishing, leaving my body while my character flies to her end. (It’s a joke but I really dislike that dungeon).
Exactly, I didn’t know mortals were so enthusiast about meeting Death Knight.
The charm of death is strong it seems.
This happens too.
Today the Priest manage to pull an invisible crocodile! (it was downstairs and we could see it).
Oh yes, priests are as awesome as DKs in this dungeon. It is better, when you mix both dks and priests in TD (and occasionally in waycrest, but that dungeon they have kind of fixed), then you are asking for trouble. It would be like extra affix.
We some point thought - hey its 8.2 so the emissaries started to cause this a lot more and often. But done few TDs now in new season and emissaries had nothing with my trait pulling below us. That little whelp should just follow the ground as it normally does, but for some reason it occasionally goes trough floor downwards. This is NOT happening elsewhere.
I just very recently pulled the final boss using an incapacitating roar through the ceiling. He’s got hella good hearing, if you ask me.
Fun times when your whole party suddenly gets red circles around them and gets stunned for moving, all while still clearing trash.
I just wonder why “fixing” cannons was much more important than fixing the bugs that have been around since before day 1 of BFA.
All in all I just find it sad that they never cared enough to solve blatant issues that negatively affect players experience. It shows very little care for this game that once was so beautifully cared for.
I don’t dislike the dungeon, I just dislike the issues that come with it.
I think this boss is more real and human than most of it. He hears, he checks out. Not like most of the bosses, who even SEE you slapping their underlings and then scream how stupid and petty hero you are.
Honestly, I’m not even mad about it. It at least makes more sense than a shield straight up flying through the walls or NPCs catching fire through several decimeters thick of a stone wall.
Hey, what do you mean that my whelp cannot fly 40y trough prison walls. It is a tiny one and manoeuvres well. This trait is funny in sense, it is not particularly strong trait, but when you go full M+ cleave trait and set up, then its ‘best trait in particular ring’ where all the tempests are. I have learned to control my whelplings, breaths and dragons. And every time I mess up (i.e. TD in particular) I always explain to my party that my lil pup just got tiny bit confused and it is totally not MY fault.
… and that whelps are tiny and likely can fly trough wall cracks and floor boards.
It has too many issues. You can pull stuff from anywhere (my fav was in season 3 on the last boss tyrannical and we pulled trash from downstairs)
I also dislike the fact that the nameplates from mobs below are so prominent, it makes it hard to see what matters. The hallways also don’t allow much free camera movement. It’s the same problem grimrail depot had. They should fix this kind of thing, perhaps by letting the camera pan through walls and letting them become transparent.
Equip a piece with Twilight Devastation and go hit Jes Howlis. If you manage to proc it you will pull Overseer, everybody you love and hold dear will be hit with the venom and explosive shots. You wanna try and run from the daggers? HERE TAKE A STUN. You wanna still do it and soak the deadeye for people cause they magically get stacks through the walls? Best of luck trying to actually find where it’s coming from
One of my most disliked dungeons ever. I hate tanking it more than anything. Even King’s Rest doesn’t seem so horrible comparing to this foul Sheithouse 3D.
Besides, when I threw my shield at Corvus it ricocheted off above the wall and never came back. Perhaps now it’s floating somewhere around in Tiragarde’s waters. I want my shield back, but have no idea how to find it…
And it really hurts, because sound of that returning shield was echoing in my mind and my body shivered as if I resisted the impact power of it coming back to my steady hand… (lol, for real, it went off of the cliff and I started seeing animation and hearing the sound of this ability minutes after the combat when my toon’s body was contracting once in a while)
This has become the only reason I’ve started dreading TD. I didn’t encounter this until last season though, hence I thought it was emissary related. Starfall is another spell that seems to go through the walls and floors.
