That’s exactly how I feel, I think we played this game for too long that we stopped being excited about these fetch/kill quests. It seems nothing is interesting anymore and really I think only new MMORPGs will excite me going forward. Classic really isn’t for me as well, since I did all that in 2020-2022. It will never be the same for me, since in 2020 I was re-playing my nostalgic days, and if I return now (I tried), I will be re-playing 2020s which is not the same at all. So believe me when I say I get more excited about retail than classic hehe
The whole system is off-putting to me.
PS: Has anyone else had the issue where re-specced hunter pets do not have a pet bar when you summon them?
The constant green arrow above my head is somehow literally making my eyes hurt
It is superb. Finally something cool
I can’t say that I am a fan of Undermine even though the zone is based on the concept of the Timeless Isle, the Isle which I love for it’s originality and so many different things to do it feels like a separate expansion. I spent more time there than anywhere else in Pandaria.
When it comes to Undermine the zone’s primarily purpose is to gear alts so that they can catch up. I find the zone severely lacking in content if you are already decently geared from season 1. No flying makes the experience even worse.
So overall it could’ve been better. The zone is impressive to look at sure but the system design which primarily targets alts’ with low gear could’ve been improved in some way.
On paper, it’s not exactly my cup of tea, but I always try to approach things with an open mind and enjoy them for what they are, and this patch isn’t making that particularly difficult. In fact, it’s made me appreciate goblins a lot more. The music is great, and the zone clearly reflects a lot of passionate, inspired work. I’m enjoying the story so far, and the MM changes are spot on.
It’s still not quite my cup of tea, but I had my time in DF and will surely find it again in Midnight. It’s good to step out of one’s comfort zone now and then. For now I’ll just go with the jazzy vibes and let goblin fans have their moment.
there are ton of bugs - for example i can only turn on / off pet agro via spellbook because pet bar is non responsive for me
How come nobody wonders how the city got there in the first place?
We’ve only been around for not even a year yet…

well not liek it matters - when .2 patch lands the zone will be abandoned and forgotten anyway
Undermine has long been in the warcraft universe.
I can’t help it but i like goblins And the car is fun too!
Damn, I thought I had finished it and don’t ever need to go back
I really like it! So much so that I made myself a Goblin (first one) and will take him through it. I love the music and the general feel of the area - it’s great.
Best patch ever. Blizzard did good.
The kobold side quest at the start had me cry laughing and was the best part of the whole thing for me.
A kobold zone, I would love.
I hate it.
I hate the zone.
I hate the drive.
I hate the lag.
Plus sides:
- The zone is very accurate to the goblin theme
- The delve I did was more interesting than some of the delves in season 1
Downsides:
- The handling of the car reminds me of some of the worst vehicle combat in FPS games of the 90s.
- The overworld, despite being a low geared character relative to this season (635 where endgame gear will be 670 or more) is still a case of grind through the mobs with no real threat present
- Some of the layouts are deliberately confusing and seem designed to do nothing other than make it take longer.
- I like Jazz, but not the music here.

The one Bfa esque is ok ish.
But the Sluice is just bad and mazey and cramped, just like the zone…really really bad, in my opinion.
Which said it’s lagged. Mine fine run.
But only noticed loot lag. After I killed mods and pick loot from corpses.
Loot load took longer than sec
It does not run fine if autoloot lags.
