I steeled myself to try to just do each one once for any quests. signed up for a normal, 5 person dungeon, got kicked for “not doing enough damage” Thats me done then. Treating the easy ones as if they m+ and putting casuals like me right off, I will just go back to other content.
Easy. Use lfg for normal dungeon. After your group is done stay in the dungeon and RP all you want.
I guess she is anxious that toxic people will be rude to her for possibly bad DPS, etc. She mentioned that random battlegrounds and open world bosses are not problem, because these events are more random/less organized.
Oh no. What kind of Heresy is this? How dare you Blizzard? Having a connected story in an MMORPG, requiring me to play with people as part of the social gameplay aspect. HOW DARE YOU, BLIZZARD???
Yeah, can we please stop the snowflake mindset here and have you understand that this will never change? And it never should. MMORPGs aren’t Singleplayer games and aren’t meant to be ones (only socially bad MMORPGs give players the option to play everything solo).
From my PoV, if you want to “play everything at your own pace, touching every corner of a wall in a room”, then you shouldn’t play MMOs. You should be playing Singleplayer games in the first place, so that you (as you said yourself) “not ruin the experience for anyone else”. Because that is what Singleplayer games are designed to be.
Edit: And as matter of fact, you (OP), speaking up against Story progress being tied to Dungeons, do it right now. You are “trying to ruin the experience for anyone else” right now. Just a heads-up on that.
As others have pointed out already, just make your own group, like every normally-thinking human being would, lead that group throught the dungeon at your own preferred pace and finish that quest.
Also, consider this: Blizzard did design the dungeon to be played before you even unlock the lvl 12 Bonus Story from the Valdrakken Accord. If you haven’t played that Dungeon by the time you hit lvl 12, that’s on you, matey.
Just join LFG Specific dugeon on Normal difficulty. It’ll be over in about 10 minutes. And then you can walk around the dungeon at your own pace when it’s finished.
I don’t really understand the problem.
