our damage is 2.5k on a target dummy alone with pre raid gear BIS and around 4.5k in raid, with buffs thats extremly low for warriors in raids, why even invite warriors in the first place, and how are they supposed to play and gear up without raid gear in the first place

By being in a guild? Guilds usually dont just bring the meta classes, you could also try being arms to bring in a rather nice debuff. But the best tip is to not pug becouse pugs want the smoothest run possible and easiest way to have a smoother run is to have higher numbers. A guild would want to gear even a furry warrior up through the tiers seeing as warriors are gods of scaling, starting fairly weak and becoming insane by the end of the expansion.

well raids also want people who do atleast 5k dps as the lowest for 25 man raids
I know this might come as a shock to you, but a class that scales extraordinarily well with stats isn’t going to do the same DPS on a target dummy as he does in a raid.

Dont pug like I said, go and find a non hardcore guild and you will get a spot fairly easily, the guilds based more around being social and just having chill raids also clear the content right now fairly easily and in those guilds the amount of min/maxing is not to the level of telling people they need to hit some specific number of dps to come.

Zabra remember laughing at warrior dps in OG Wrath because of their poor damage, only to eat humble pie when we were running ICC.
Join a nice guild. You’ll get invited and you’ll get gear. Then, you’ll become DPS God.

We have 3 dps warriors right now and they’re beating a lot of our roster because they have years of experience playing warrior. They’ve got used to managing CDs as they’ve had to since vanilla, whereas most other classes only just got their DPS CD in wrath and use it suboptimally
Getting into a pug as a warrior being challenging should not come as a surprise to you though, it’s always been this way. It’s the most popular class due to it being one of the most fun to play when juiced up with buffs and gear
But yeah you outscale most classes by p3/p4, but most guilds/communities will already have “their” warriors by then. Start early

We have 4 warriors atm. 2 prot and 2 dps.
You want to raid as warrior? Find a guild that brings the player, not the class.
My guild wont force warriors from back in MC to reroll because YouTube said so.

Find a guild that doesn’t mind carrying you until you eventually become the best dps in the game. Warrior sucks in T7 because it got nerfed in 2009, after initially being overpowered due to Deep Wounds damage scaling too high.
The raids are EXTREMELY easy, the only people not taking Warriors are world first speedrun guilds.

You’re a sunderbot for half of the expansion. Deal with it.
There are tons of raiding guilds that don’t care about the class & spec.
I will encourage anyone to play whatever they find fun instead of following tier-lists & youtube guides.
Just leave the raid or guild with that kind of perspective. Dont group up with any one with that kind of perspective too people this days forgot to enjoy the game forgot that we playing wow to find more friend to have best moment together

After TBC it’s really satisfyingly seeing warrior tears when not getting insta invited to every raid.

This, we had 3 fury warriors in our first 25m naxx yday and it was smooth, we are not an hardcore guild, just enjoying playing with eachother and banther the whole raid
