So we still get gold reward emissaries?

Thought gold reward emissaries were going away with the pre-patch, but seems not to be the case : the emissary today (alliance side only) rewards 2000 gold (on horde side only an item). Checked that it is not a bug by completing the emissary, I did receive 2000 gold so it’s not just a display bug.

Well I won’t be the one to complain

One question in addition : has anyone checked whether completing a paragon box still grants 4000 ish gold ? I also assumed this was gone but now am not so sure if we still get emissaries with gold.

Yes nothing has changed until SL.

Highly unlikely they’d change it.

Enjoy the gold farm. But truth be told, i doubt a lot of people would want to do daily emissary quests in BFA zones when shadowlands hits live. So it won’t be much viable for most.

They’re still around 4k, just did one.

Also the emissaries are changing for SL content, not for BFA. That is probably what you heard and mistook to mean during SL, not specifically for SL content.

I just did an Honourbound emissary chest, got 4,7K gold.

I distinctly remember that, for previous expansions, the gold missions / expeditions disappeared with the pre-patch and not with the expansion itself.

You can still go do Legion? Have always been able to. And Legion was the first expansion to introduce the expedition quests.
